We love to have family time, travel, and fish. We designed this house to share with lots of family and friends and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do. Our goal is for all of our guests to sit back, relax, and love Galveston as much as we do.

We love the beach, love to fish, and most of all we love family time! Therefore, with Galveston only one hour away, we all decided this was the perfect place. Galveston has so much history, charm, GREAT restaurants, shopping and so much more to see and do that you can easily spend a week here and never run out of things to do. It also has the world's longest continuous sidewalk which attracts walkers, joggers, bicyclists, skaters and many more activities. So, if you like to be active, it's a great place or, if you prefer to relax, just grab a good book and enjoy the beach! Since we can not retire just yet, we wanted to allow others to enjoy Galveston and our home as much as we do; therefore, we designed and furnished our home with comfort and entertainment in mind. Consequently, it's not just a vacation rental, it's a vacation home! A Breeze Away has been fully renovated with all new appliances, remodeled bathrooms, refinished floors and a newly added master suite with private entrance to the deck and backyard. It is like a brand new home, but maintains the charming, historic cottage look and feel of the early 1900's.
What makes this House unique
A Breeze Away is just that. We are a breeze away from the beach, a breeze away from the Strand and a breeze away from Houston! For parking ease, we have a long driveway the length of the property with access from the front of the house or the alley. You can easily park your boat or 4 large vehicles without relying on street parking. If you like entertaining outdoors you will love our backyard retreat with a privacy fence, large deck and plenty of seating areas.

What a beautiful beach house! Everything was perfect for our stay and we could of not been happier and more pleased. The home is immaculately clean, spacious, full stocked with everything you will need. The location is perfect, neighbors are lovely and just perfect for any length of get away to Galveston. We will back !!
Family trip to Galveston for a few days and this house was amazing! We loved the beachy theme. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed hanging out in the living room and playing board games in the dining room. Great location....5 minute drive to everything! Looking forward to staying here again someday.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kempner Park!!! We highly recommend it and will be back to stay again!!!
Family Vacation with Grandkids
This cute beach house was perfect for our family! We took our 5 grandchildren and they loved the kid's room with bunk beds and games. The living room and dining room was big enough for us to gather and play games and visit. Loved that you can drive your cars into the back and lock the gate -- made it so much easier getting in and out of car with all our luggage and beach toys. Beach was walkable and neighborhood felt very safe. House was decorated very nice and loved the master room for us (Mimi and Papa). Kitchen was big enough for us all to move around. The AC worked great and the endless hot water was fantastic. We made many memories and will definitely recommend to family and friends and would stay here again for sure!!! Thanks for making our time with our grandchildren so much fun!
Wonderful Galveston Home
My family and I stayed over Memorial weekend and had an amazing time. The photos of the home don't do it justice. The layout is great and it's the perfect size so you don't feel like you're on top of one another. Fully equipped with everything we needed for the weekend and the location couldn't be better. Close to the beach, the strand and shops. We would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful Galveston home.

This wonderful home is located just a couple of blocks from the Seawall/beach. Galveston Island has over 32 miles of beaches, and some of the best are within the boundaries of the City’s urban core. It is the ONLY place in America where an historical Southern city sits right on the beach. This means that Galveston is NOT a typical beach town, but a small 19th-Century city, upgraded with today's conveniences, and integrated with modern structures. This creates a totally unique cityscape, which is made up of hundreds of historic homes, a vibrant historic downtown area, an active port and set on the eastern end of The Island is one of the busiest ship channels in the world. There are many restaurants and bars near the home, especially along the Seawall. Parking on the Seawall is $8 a day and since you register your license plate you can move anywhere along the Seawall during the day and not pay more. Parking downtown in the historic Strand District is per hour. You pick a parking spot, take the number off of the space off of the curb and enter that into one of the parking kiosks. Then you are ready to enjoy the Strand district. There you find the historic port of Galveston. With it's many shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy. And don't forget to see the historic Victorian mansions along Broadway. Bishop's Palace and Moody Mansion are open year round for guided and self-guided tours. Fantastic homes.
