Beautiful 3 Bedroom, 2 1/2 Bath Home With Outdoor Deck And Off Street Parking.

Escape from work, home and headaches to a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath newly remodeled Galveston cottage with ALL the great comforts of home! Private master suite with outside access. Great backyard with spacious parking and deck area.

Enjoy a brief walk to the seawall and you will find the groomed beach, Pleasure Pier, restaurants, bars, retail stores and many other fun activities for the entire family.

Our home will accommodate up to 10 people without feeling crowded. We have a king sized bed in the master, a queen bed in the front bedroom and a bunk room with 3 twin beds. A twin "Murphy" bed in the dining room , the we also provide a queen size air mattress located in the living room closet. This mattress can easily be set up in the laundry area, or anywhere in the home. There is a tub/shower in the master bathroom and a large shower in the second bathroom.

Enjoy free high speed Wi-Fi during your stay! We have a 60" Smart TV with streaming Netflix, Pandora and other on demand services in the living room. There is a large HD Smart TV in the master and a gaming TV in the bunk room.

We have a key-less entry gate opener to and from an alley entrance, or street parking, key-less entry into the home, tank-less hot water heater (never run out of hot water!), brand new front load W/D, Ninja blender, games, wood deck with charcoal BBQ pit, and completely private backyard!

A Breeze Away was designed to relax, enjoy and entertain!

As a courtesy to our neighbors , we cannot allow prom parties, graduation parties or young spring breakers. You must be 25 years of age to reserve the home.

Winter Guests are most welcome.

During Hurricane Season....You will only receive a full refund if there is a named Category 1 or higher named storm in the Gulf of Mexico and it is directed at Galveston.

After a deposit is made, you will receive a Pre-Arrival Letter with much more information about the home. Especially how to gain access.

Cancellation/Refund policy -

If you must cancel, we ask that you do so at least 30 days before your arrival date to receive a full refund.

We love and live to enjoy life! We are blessed with a beautiful family, career and now this awesome beach home. We work really hard, so we can play really hard. We love to have family time, travel, and fish. We designed this house to share with lots of family and friends and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do. Our goal is for all of our guests to sit back, relax, and love Galveston as much as we do.

Why Richard D - Property Manager chose Galveston

We love the beach, love to fish, and most of all we love family time! Therefore, with Galveston only one hour away, we all decided this was the perfect place. Galveston has so much history, charm, GREAT restaurants, shopping and so much more to see and do that you can easily spend a week here and never run out of things to do. It also has the world's longest continuous sidewalk which attracts walkers, joggers, bicyclists, skaters and many more activities. So, if you like to be active, it's a great place or, if you prefer to relax, just grab a good book and enjoy the beach!

Since we can not retire just yet, we wanted to allow others to enjoy Galveston and our home as much as we do; therefore, we designed and furnished our home with comfort and entertainment in mind. Consequently, it's not just a vacation rental, it's a vacation home!

A Breeze Away has been fully renovated with all new appliances, remodeled bathrooms, refinished floors and a newly added master suite with private entrance to the deck and backyard. It is like a brand new home, but maintains the charming, historic cottage look and feel of the early 1900's.

What makes this house unique

A Breeze Away is just that. We are a breeze away from the beach, a breeze away from the Strand and a breeze away from Houston!

For parking ease, we have a long driveway the length of the property with access from the front of the house or the alley. You can easily park your boat or 4 large vehicles without relying on street parking.

If you like entertaining outdoors you will love our backyard retreat with a privacy fence, large deck and plenty of seating areas.

Dining Room - You will find a Murphy Bed. This is a twin bed. In the Entry closet you will find a Queen Size air mattress that can be used. For a little privacy, place it in the laundry room on the floor. Extra sheets and pillows are located in the closet in the Master bedroom.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The house was fully stocked with everything you would need away from home, lots of room, centrally located and the decor was awesome! The home was very clean and welcoming. Defenatly would rent again!

Private, clean, well maintained

The house was clean and well maintained. We liked the layout, it worked great for our two families that we're there. Since the master bedroom was located on the opposite side of the other bedrooms we were still able to feel like we had privacy and space if we needed it. Loved how the back deck was right off the master bedroom. The beach was in walking distance, but there were not easy accessible sidewalks. Had to walk most of it in the street with strollers and our beach geer.Would stay here again if we came back to the area.

Beautiful home close to the Beach!

This home was perfect for out family. It was beautifully decorated with such a homey feel. And it was well stocked with any kitchen or bath item you would possibly need! I love that they supplied coffee, coffee filters and sweetener. It was so close to the beach and the seawall restaurants. We will definitely go back!

Best Galveston Rental

We were very happy with the vacation house on Galveston Island. Everything was just as pictured. We loved the colors used and beach theme which was carried throughout the house. The owners thought of everything needed for our enjoyment. The neighborhood and surrounding houses were beautifully restored. This is the place to stay if you want to enjoy a vacation in Galveston.

Should have been a 5 Star review...

Unfortunately the entire stay was dampened by the gnats. Upon arriving at the very lovely cottage we were swarmed with gnats. (The photos don't do the cottage justice, the decor and the location were awesome.) I called the manager, Richard, immediately and he promptly brought over some flying insect spray. It was appreciated but it was 5 days of constantly spraying, which resulted in a smelly house and having to swat the gnats away from or food and our faces. I took pictures, as this was not your normal 2 or 3 annoying gnats. I realize that gnats dont mean a dirty house but when you spray and leave; then come back to find dead gnats on your pillow cases, it was gross, so I was kind of creeped out and annoyed are entire stay. I sent Richard a text, half way through our stay to tell him there was no getting control, even with the spray. But did not hear from him. Wish it had been different, as I said, the place was just so cute and I would stay again and recommend to friends had it not been for the gnats.

Great property for family gatherings, such a great open space & kitchen and so comfy!

We came for a graduation celebration weekend with family and friends and this was such a perfect property for our group. The only thing that we needed but didn't have was a box grater (for carrots)!! Other than that, this house was cater made for group festivities and we had such a great time!

Thank you to Richard, the property manager for being quick to respond about wifi issues that resolved quickly, and for being responsive & just humorous enough when we got to experience some of the finer points of island life in old houses - bugs the first night weren't what anyone wanted, but it all worked out just fine and Richard gave us a giggle. Thank you again!!

This wonderful home is located just a couple of blocks from the Seawall/beach. Galveston Island has over 32 miles of beaches, and some of the best are within the boundaries of the City’s urban core. It is the ONLY place in America where an historical Southern city sits right on the beach. This means that Galveston is NOT a typical beach town, but a small 19th-Century city, upgraded with today's conveniences, and integrated with modern structures. This creates a totally unique cityscape, which is made up of hundreds of historic homes, a vibrant historic downtown area, an active port and set on the eastern end of The Island is one of the busiest ship channels in the world. There are many restaurants and bars near the home, especially along the Seawall. Parking on the Seawall is $8 a day and since you register your license plate you can move anywhere along the Seawall during the day and not pay more. Parking downtown in the historic Strand District is per hour. You pick a parking spot, take the number off of the space off of the curb and enter that into one of the parking kiosks. Then you are ready to enjoy the Strand district. There you find the historic port of Galveston. With it's many shops, bars and restaurants to enjoy. And don't forget to see the historic Victorian mansions along Broadway. Bishop's Palace and Moody Mansion are open year round for guided and self-guided tours. Fantastic homes.
