We felt at home in this lovely property conveniently located close to Cape Elizabeth beaches and a short ride to Portland. The home was beautifully decorated and immaculate. Maps and parking passes left by the owner were very useful. We hope to return in the future.
Our family and another family had a great vacation here in summer 2015. We were 4 adults with 4 young children (ages 2.5-6). It was the first time the family rented the home, and everything went smoothly. The house was clean and beautiful, and Jim was really helpful in answering questions, making sure things went well. Our kids loved the basement and would happily play down there giving the adults time to relax upstairs in the sunny greatroom/kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet and we explored the trails surrounding the house. Also took many trips to the beach, picnics and to Portland. We would recommend this house and hope to come back sometime!
The property is stunning. It is spacious, beautifully crafted and maintained, and efficient. The kitchen and baths were immaculate and beautifully appointed.
The location is convenient to the Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse and beaches, and Portland.
The owner left maps, parking passes, instructions and was available, which was most helpful.
I would not only recommend the property, I plan to stay there again in the future.
We enjoyed the area's beaches and local dining including Spurwink's, the restaurant at the Black Point Inn, the Lobster Shack at Lighthouse Point, J's Oyster in the Old Port in Portland, and Dock's Seafood.
