Fabulous view in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent 3 nights in Mirko's apartment. We enjoyed how close we were to the Colosseum, the restaurants and other amazing sites of Rome. Rome is definitely a walking city. We walked to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps from the apartment. Mirko was a great host. We had one small issue with the TV and he arrived in 30 min to fix it. He recommended the restaurant Benso which is in very close proximity to the apartment (very good food!). There is an irish pub a couple doors away and it got a little loud on Friday night but they quited down around 1130. Nice to have a bar so close by! The terrace is worth any noise. Beautiful views of the Victor Emmanuel monument and the top of the Roman Forum lookout point. It really is magical. We would definitely stay here again. Rome was amazing!

Dirty and charged a cleaning fee upon arrival

  • 1 of 5

Manager of apartment picked us up in his filthy car. There was a baby seat in back seat that I wouldn't allow a dog to sit in . It was gross. If you are going to offer to pick up your customers at least clean the car and take out the filthy baby seat. apartment was dirty! Yes, sheets were clean but that was about it. Hair on floor, dust everywhere, fingerprints on windows and TV. The roof top deck had a sprinkler to water flower pots that went off at night around 10:00 making the patio wet. Only candle on porch burned down to wick. They are too cheap to have it replaced for next guest. Spackling dust and remnant crap for apartment repairs was left on patio counter and cat carrier and exercise bike on patio too. One roll toilet paper in bathroom. A disgrace. This place never gets cleaned .they are pocketing the fee they collect. I'd like my cleaning fee back but I know this will never happen. This place is run by a manager that runs 11 properties. They are just taking your money and could care less about the customer.

Great Location, clean, enjoyed the terrace.

  • 5 of 5

We ended our Mediterranean cruise in Rome and stayed for 3 days before heading home. We were with 2 other couples, they stayed and the Boscolo Exedra which was out of our budget, however, it turned out that we had the better place! It was great for having friends over and at the end of the day we sat out on our terrace, enjoyed the Rome evening and a glass of wine.

The apartment was clean and neat. It did look different than the pictures simply because the decor was changed, a little more country or casual feeling. No biggie. I am a clean freak and everything was clean. The bathroom was perfect. It has been redone and so it is modern and minimalistic--everything a clean freak loves. The location is great! We grabbed pastries and cappuccinos in the morning from one of the shops below. We walked to the Colosseum to meet our friends who took an Uber. We bought a bottle of wine from one of the shops within walking distance and, of course, some Limoncello. There is great shopping across the street and down the alley. You really can walk anywhere (I would suggest renting segways and using a tour guide--this was a highlight for us. Erik give us a tour of the Vatican and then a couple of days later a Segway Tour of Rome. Start with a Erik, he is excellent, after that venture out on your own.

We loved the Terrace. We sat out on the terrace every night. The night before the Celebration of "Republic Day", a choir was rehearsing at the Colosseum and you could hear them loud and clear, it was beautiful. I wish I could post it here. On the other nights we enjoyed a glass of wine and listening to the street below and the homes across the alley way. (Wish I had candles)

We stocked our fridge with water and snacks. It is great to have the fridge, wine glasses, dishes and cutlery. There was a blowdryer and converters which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. Since it was summer we did not use the fireplace. We enjoyed the elevator "experience". It is a small European elevator--beats stairs!

I gave 5 stars, not a "5 star" hotel rating as in overly extravegant, but It has everything you need, is in a great location, CLEAN, new bathroom, stocked with the supplies you need, really nice :), great terrace, coffee shops below, good size (our friends at the Boscolo had a room half the size and looked forward to getting out of it in the mornings.) I would recommend this as a great place to stay.

Thanks Mirko

Wonderful View!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I spent five wonderful days at this apartment in Rome and had a great time. We were there to celebrate our anniversary. Mirko (the apt. manager) was great and picked us up at the airport. It cost 50 Euro, which was about the going rate. He spoke pretty good English which was good since my Italian is terrible. When we arrived, he gave us a run down on the apartment and where everything was (market, metro, restaurants, etc. ... all very close). We had one problem while we were there. The brand new water heater quite on us, but Mirko was right on the problem and had it fixed right away. One thing Mirko was very clear on was that there could be no loud parties or excessive noise since this is a residential area and the neighbors would complain so keep that in mind if you rent here. We liked it though since we were looking for a quiet place to spend our time in Rome. Mirko was always available and only a phone call away. He also arranged for our pick up at 4:30 am via cab to take us to the airport.

The view was wonderful. Its the greatest feature. Its a great place to have your breakfast or sip on some wine. Inside is one large bedroom and kitchen combo. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Bathroom is separate and updated. It has a fireplace, but we didn't use it.

You are minutes away from the metro, coliseum, forum, and the Monti district. The Monti district has fun shops and restaurants. The Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain are a 15 -20 minute walk. Very doable.

We would stay there again.
