We are widely travelled, and much prefer the comfort of staying in an apartment on holiday as opposed to the usually sterile atmosphere of a hotel. We love that there is always a lot more space - than a shoebox room. When we rent an apartment ourselves, we expect a clean and functioning apartment with all the amenities we need for an extended stay. A helpful and friendly host who provides lots of information about the city/area is very welcome and we strive to provide this for guests who stay with us!
The apartment's central location is perfect for us to access any part of the city - we are big fans of the Louvre and being walking distance to this excellent museum is a real bonus for us. It is also very quiet, with the windows looking on to the central courtyard of the building. All the shops along Rue de Rivoli, Saint Honore and around Madeleine are very close by too.
Make yourself right at home in our apartment - the open and well-equipped kitchen is the key to living like a local, and making a tasty dinner on a few of your evenings. We have upgraded our appliances to include an induction stove as well as a dishwasher.
The apartment also has cable TV in each bedroom (no bickering over the channels!) and wireless internet. We added a little touch of Japan in the 'indoor pebble garden' which we hope you enjoy too!
The apartment is very stylish and elegant. Plenty of space for my friends and I. Close proximity to transportation, for example within walking distance of the train to Louvre-Palais Royal. Staff was very easy to work with, and he was flexible with our check-in time which was very helpful. We enjoyed taking long walks in the neighborhood, and window shopping in the upscale shops nearby. We will definitely come back.
We had a great time staying at this apartment - it was perfect for me and two teenage girls. Apartment was clean and updated and had everything we needed. It was centrally located - 5 minute walk to the Louvre or the Tuileries. Everything we needed was close by - cafes, bakeries, Metro. Apartment was pretty quiet for how busy the surrounding area was - no street noise. Would definitely recommend this apartment.
We loved our stay here at the Welcome 2 France unit on rue Saint-Honore. We were familiar with Paris a little before but we had never been to this area and we fully enjoined it. The apartment was warm and comfortable. It was also very quiet for such a vibrant and lively area. You could not be more central located than in this apartment!
It was very nicely decorated, well equipped, and quiet. I was actually surprised how quiet it was, considering the location. The location could not be more convenient, walk up one block, over one block, and you are at the Louvre and the Metro. There are a number of great restaurants in the area of all makes and sizes, a Starbucks for us coffee lovers, and a well stocked wine shop down the street.
I would definitely stay there again.
I have not walked that much before in my life than in Paris. The apartment had such a great central location that we literally were able to walk everywhere (Louvre meuseum, Opera, Champs Elysées, Saint Germain des pres, Notre Dame and the Marais). The Louvre is just one block from the apartment. We never used the public transportation. For a fun alternative, use the public bicycle system, there are plenty stations around the apartment. Beside location, the apartment was clean and comfortable, and we were able to get good afternoon naps in order to adjust on our jet lag. Great place to stay to visit Paris.
We enjoyed this property for our second spring holiday in a row. The apartment was clean and well located. We have a young family (four of us) and this was sized just right!
