Apartment in Itabashi Ku, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, sleeps 6
This is an entire apartment made to feel like a log cabin. Enjoy all of the comforts of home in your own space in Tokyo!
This fully furnished room will make you want to stay longer! Enjoy the privacy of your own accommodations.
We live in a unit in the same building so we are present when you arrive and when you leave (unless other arrangements need to be made), if you need us we are very close, otherwise enjoy the privacy this room entitles you to.
In the five minute walk between the train station and this apartment, there is a large grocery/variety store, a public bath (you must try it!!), a family restaurant, a couple fast food restaurants, a flower shop, three convenience stores, and pharmacy. Most of the things you will need for everyday living will be within minutes of your place.
From our train station, there are two main subway lines that can get you to most of Tokyo's popular places very easily. We are 4 minutes to Ikebukuro, 15 to Shinjuku, 17 to Harajuku, and 19 to Shibuya- all without changing trains! From Narita or Haneda, it is very easy to get here. When you book, we will send you detailed instructions on how to get here, regardless of where you are arriving.

The home is very nice and cosy. The owners are very very kind with us and they help us with every doubt and question about the house and also about Tokyo. We love them and their home! Thank you very much for this beautiful experience! Recommended!

I had a totally great and wonderful time staying in this lovely apartment! The log cabin feel made it feel even more homely, and the location with the gardens running along the back of the apartment (which you could enjoy from the long balcony) added a lovely aspect to my stay. I found the apartment very peaceful and it had everything that I needed. Jason was a great host and had left a 'welcome to Tokyo' note on the front door for me when I arrived, which was an early sign of the kind of caring person he is. The front door also had a clever and easy code style locking system, which meant I never had to think about taking or not losing a front door key. It was super easy to get anywhere I wanted to in Tokyo as the apartment is just a 5 minute walk from a station on the underground train network with 2 main lines running through it. There was also a gym near the station that was super easy to join as a part time visitor. All in all I had a fantastic time in wonderful and brilliant Tokyo and staying in the very spacious and well priced log cabin apartment played a big part in me having such a great time. I will not hesitate to stay there again or to recommend to any of my friends or family when they might visit Tokyo.

An absolutely wonderful apartment with fantastic access to the subway and plenty of other amenities. Spacious rooms and nice beds galore; just watch your head if you're 6" tall or higher (like me!). Jason was kind enough to stop by and make sure we'd settled in okay, and he was kind enough to recommend some nearby restaurants and other attractions.
I stayed at two other apartments during my trip to Japan, and this place was incomparably better than the other two. I only wish I'd stayed here last, so the other two wouldn't have seemed to lame in comparison!

The location is great too, only 5 minutes walk to the subway. There is a huge supermarket next to the subway. It is very convenient to buy food on the way back.
The host, Jason was very nice and helpful. My friend left few items at the apartment after check-out. Jason packed the items and mailed back to my friend the next day.
We highly recommended!

It is a wonderful place to stay with a family especially in a log-cabin. It is different from other houses and I think you should try staying here to get some experience in a log-cabin. All the facilities are fully equipped and well maintainted. The train station is about 5 minutes walking distance but it is away from the main places. There's groceries store nearby too. This log-cabin is really clean and comfortable, it can fit 4 adults and 4 kids. To me, the extra charge is quit expensive but the price per night is reasonable. If I'm coming back to Tokyo, I would love to stay here again.
Our station is SENKAWA station. On the Yurakucho Line and the Fukutoshin Line. After going out of the ticket gate, turn right and go to exit 2. When you are out on the street, turn right and walk down the street. The street is on your left, the bicycle parking is on your right. Continue walking to the first intersection. On your right is a dry-cleaners, across the street you will see a grocery store called LIFE. Keep walking the same direction- busy street (under construction on your left, supermarket on your right) You will see a traffic light just after the supermarket- without crossing the street turn right here. You will see Christmas light decorations on this street. Walk down this street (street on your left, buildings, houses, etc on your right) You will come to a traffic light after about 100 meters, cross going straight here and keep walking maybe 50 meters to the next stop light. Here, look to your right, there should be a grey building with yellow doors on it. Now, turn your back to that (we call it the Yellow-Submarine building) building and cross the street. You will see a smaller side-street that goes down a slight hill (curves a little to the left). There are soda vending machines on your right- walk down this small street- there is a very old Japanese house on your right, and a very new house on your left. At the end of the old Japanese house's fence you will see a small staircase on your right that leads into the parking lot of a marine-green-grey tiled building. There are three stairwells, ours is the closest to the stairs you just came down.
