Recently remodeled, fabulous lakefront home in SW Cape Coral! Vacation on the Eight Lakes with Southern Exposure in Villa Thunderbird View! Awesome views over Thunderbird lake with a fast direct access to the Gulf of Mexico! Come and relax in this sprawling 4 bedroom 2 bathroom Villa located in a quiet dead end street. This home is very nicely appointed with furnishings and decor. The beautiful open kitchen with granite counter tops and brand new stainless steel appliances is equipped with everything you need. Other amenities include a big (dual) heated pool, a pool table, a captain walk boat dock. The master area has some great walk-in closets and there is a beautiful atrium in the bathroom. The whole house has gorgeous architectural windows and vaulted ceilings. All 4 bedrooms have a king size bed and both bathrooms are full-size with the master equipped with a separate tub and shower. There is a flat screen TV in the living room and in all the bedrooms. WiFi throughout the home. Villa Thunderbird View is conveniently located and is close to all shops and restaurants. Close to Tarpon Point Marina and Cape Harbour. Two exquisite salt water lakes, Thunderbird Lake and Britannia Lake, anchor this exclusive community and are designed in cloverleaf configurations for optimal water vistas. These man-made lakes offer residents backyard recreation and easy access to the warm breezes of the Gulf of Mexico from an in-town location.

Please note: Electricity is charged separately for this home and is deducted from the security deposit if this was retained. If the reservation included a Property Damage Protection Plan in lieu of a security deposit then electricity overage will be charged to the credit card on file. Airbnb or TripAdvisor/FlipKey customers will be charged through the marketplace Resolution Center after departure for overages over $100. The owner offers $25 per week allowance on this home and overage will be calculated after this amount.

Tolle Lage mit Tieren

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir von Kakerlaken begrüßt. In der Laudry, der Küche, dem Wohnzimmer und im Bad.

Wir dachten es sei ein schlechter Film nach 22 Std. Anreise. Am nächsten Morgen schauten wir mal genauer hin. Und mussten feststellen, das dass Haus eine Top Lage hat, aber die Pflege des Hauses nicht dem Mietpreis entspricht. Im Wohnzimmer waren unter dem Sofa noch Essensreste des Vormieters. Auf der Terasse fanden wir auch Reste. Auf dem Steg am Wasser stand noch Geschirr vom Vormieter. Im Kühlschrank war noch Fisch und Eis vom Vormieter. Sprich, es wurde nicht richtig sauber gemacht. Der Grillrost ist verostet. Der Garagenöffner funktionierte nicht. Aber die Garage ist sowieso nur mit einem kleinen Fahrzeug nutzbar, denn der Besitzer hat seinen Pickup darin stehen. Der Pool hatte zu wenig Wasser. Ach und die Kakerlaken waren im Backofen, in der Spülmaschine, im Toaster, in der Kaffemaschine, in allen Küchenschränken und in allen Zwischenverkleidungen der Küchengeräte. Wir reklamierten sofort und es kam auch die Pest Control. Sie sagte uns, dass dieses Haus problematisch sei. Es gab schon öfter Probleme mit den Tierchen, aber man höre nicht auf die Verbesserungsvorschläge. Nachdem es nur langsam besser wurde wollten wir aus dem Vertrag aussteigen. Der Chef der Verwaltung kam und sagte uns dass Tiere in Florida normal wären und das dies auch im Vertrag steht. Und er wolle auch nicht dass wir so leben müssen. Vertrag bleibt bestehen! Aber er schickt uns immer die Putzkolonne vorbei um die toten Tiere zu beseitigen. Weiter wollen wir hier nicht darauf eingehen. In der ersten Woche (von Dreien) waren wir im Haus und durften auf den Kammerjäger warten, die Putzkolonne und die Hauserwaltung. Für diesen Aufwand bekamen wir eine Tagesmiete gutgeschrieben. Wir sind nun das 10 Jahr in Folge in Cape Coral. Immer in verschieden Häusern. Und hatten auch immer mal Tiere wie Ameisen, Eidechsen und sogar eine kleine Schlange, aber sowas hatten wir noch nicht erlebt. Deshalb können wir nur abraten in dieses Objekt zu gehen. Wir hatten wirklich schlechte Erfahrungen machen müssen. Darum raten wir von dem Haus und der Verwaltung ab. Die zwei Sterne vergeben wir nur für die Lage des Hauses die sehr gut ist.

Very pleasant stay

The location of the villa is perfect and the view over the lake is amazing we really enjoyed our stay. There are a couple of things the villa is stated as luxury I would say very good. The towels had bleach marks on and so did some of the throws on the beds, the blinds in the dining area were badly marked and so were the cushions outside on the chairs.The paintwork could do with touching up in some places and I wish we could have found instructions for the cooker we could not get that thing to stay on. I know americans do tend to drink more coffee than us brits but we had to go and buy a kettle to make tea.

The dock area is great we spent alot of time down there, I think there should be some sort of roped area and maybe more lights around by the speedboat, as on our 1st night we arrived late and one of our group decided to go for a walk down to the dock and all we heard was a scream and a splash he had fallen in the lake

We still laugh about it now.

This place is ideal for all shops and Fort Myers.

Great place in great location

Nice and tidy. This property was exactly as shown in the advertising. Location was really great in the Eight lake area where the canal becomes lake which gives some more privacy room when down at the dock. The property has 4 bed rooms and 2 bathrooms. We where 2 families of totally 8 persons and we all felt that we had enough room and privacy. There where enough space around the big table on the porch for all of us which was very convenient for breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The neighborhood was quiet and the street is on a dead-end area so not much traffic which may be disturbing in other areas of Cape Coral. Property manager was very supportive and we felt confortable during our whole stay. Thank you.

I would gladly recommend this property to others.
