Rent an adorable 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath vacation rental in the heart of Capitola-Village-By-the-Sea, named by Sunset Magazine as one of the 'best small beach towns in California' and 'among the top 20 small towns in the west'. Most recently, Coast Living Magazine, named Magazine one of the best seaside towns in America. This tastefully updated decorated fully furnished two-story vacation rental duplex is available for both short and long term rentals.

The vacation rental is just steps to many boutiques, galleries, fine dining and casual restaurants, nightlife with live entertainment and, of course, the beach! You can walk to everywhere in the village.

We have another unit right next door very similar to this property but it has a deck. It is VRBO 389532.

Unit Details:

-Enjoy this completely furnished, updated and clean unit that sleeps 8 that is just 2 short blocks to the beach and located in the heart of Capitola Village.

-1 Queen bed in master bedroom, 2 Double beds in the downstairs bedroom, One Queen Sofa Sleeper in Living Room (Linens provided) The sofa sleeper is recommended for smaller kids.

- 2 bedroom and 1.5 bath unit has a comfortable living and dining area.

- One car garage with automatic opener. A lot of places in Capitola Village do not have parking so this is a very nice feature.

--Fully equipped updated kitchen with granite counters, refrigerator/ice maker, stove, oven, garbage disposal, microwave, toaster, blender, dishwasher, coffee maker.

-Hardwood floors everywhere with the exception of tile in the bathrooms.

-Master bedroom and full bath on upper level.....2nd bedroom and 1/2 bath on lower level. Master bath with shower over tub and tiled floors, granite counters.

-Includes washer/dryer shared with other unit in separate laundry room.

-Home is equipped for your entertainment with a TV in each room.

- Amenities include high speed WIRELESS INTERNET, CABLE TV in each room, Blu-Ray DVD player in family room, shared laundry room with washer/dryer (NOT coin operated), iron, electric BBQ in garage, iHome clock radio with iPhone docks in both bedrooms.

-Garage parking for one car (does not fit really large vehicles like Suburbans but fits most cars...please inquire for details.)

-Capitola Village is a 5 minute drive to Santa Cruz, 40 minute drive from Carmel and Monterey, 40 minutes from Silicon Valley, a 2 hour drive south from San Francisco, 3 hours from Sacramento, and 3 hours from the Napa Valley.

We just love Capitola Village and had been coming here for years and then we bought this vacation rental in 2011. We live in the Bay Area and became owners of the property in October 2011. We manage the vacation rental ourselves which we feel is extremely important. We have been renting through VRBO for years and are so excited to be renting our place on VRBO now.

Why Julie chose Central Coast California

We chose Capitola Village because of the beautiful beach, the adorable shops, great dining, wine shops, etc. We love parking our car and not moving it all weekend. Capitola Village has so many great family activities such as the Begonia Festical, Surfin Santa, Wine Festivals, etc.

What makes this condo unique

Love that the condo is so bright and homey. Love that there is a tv with cable with every room and sleeps 6 adults and 2, up to 8. The condo is just steps the the beach and shops. LOVE that has a garage and laundry with a carport as well. Parking can be difficult in Capitola Village and have garage parking is such a plus.

Our family rented both units A&B, it was perfect. One side for family with children, and the other side without. We had wonderful meals in both units or simply walked downtown. Both sides are fully stocked and very comfortable. When you rent both units at the same time it increases parking to 5 spaces! So important in Capitola. We were able to store boogie boards and kayaks safely in the garage. We are looking forward to renting again this winter.

Location location location!

Our family was very happy with the location of the place - within walking mins away from the beach and the downtown area! The neighborhood was very quiet. The only suggestion for the host is to provide shampoo. Everything else was great. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The property was perfect. It was clean and comfortable and well equipped and perfectly located.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend and had a wonderful time. My sister and I and all our grown daughters had great time. The girls could wonder around the village and on the beach while my sister and I shopped. Cooking the holiday meal was easy. The place is small but we all fit in just fine. I hope to stay there again.

Near restaurants, stores, beach

The unit is in a good location in Capitola, plus there is a garage for parking one car which is a great help as parking is limited around town. It is comfortable enough, especially if you are basically out and about the town. (Though we ate lunch and dinner out, we did want to make pancakes for breakfast. Kitchen items need to be revamped - pans and utensils are sorely lacking and the ones there are poor/bent - also no beater, manual or electric. Could not find a hair dyer.
