Capitola Village Vacation Rental

Rent an adorable 2 bedroom/1 1/2 bath vacation rental in the heart of Capitola-Village-By-the-Sea, named by Sunset Magazine in March 2009 as one of the 'best small beach towns in California' and 'among the top 20 small towns in the west'. This tastefully updated decorated fully furnished two-story vacation rental duplex is available for both short and long term rentals.

The vacation rental is just steps to many boutiques, galleries, fine dining and casual restaurants, nightlife with live entertainment and, of course, the beach! You can walk to everywhere in the village.

Email for details. If this unit is booked or if you have multiple parties, we have another unit that sleeps 8 as well right next door as well. VRBO: 389560. Very similar properties. This one has a deck and Unit 389560 does not.

Unit Details:

-Enjoy this completely furnished, updated and clean unit that sleeps 8 that is just 2 short blocks to the beach and located in the heart of Capitola Village.

-1 Queen bed in master bedroom, 2 Double beds in the downstairs bedroom, One Queen Sofa Sleeper in Living Room (Linens provided). The sofa sleeper is recommended for smaller kids.

- 2 bedroom and 1.5 bath unit has a comfortable living and dining area and deck.

- One car garage with automatic opener. A lot of places in Capitola Village do not have parking so this is a very nice feature.

--Fully equipped updated kitchen with granite counters, refrigerator/ice maker, stove, oven, garbage disposal, microwave, toaster, blender, microwave oven.

-Hardwood floors in living, dining area and bedrooms.

-Master bedroom and full bath on upper level.....2nd bedroom and 1/2 bath on lower level. Master bath with shower over tub and tiled floors, granite counters.

-Includes washer/dryer shared with other unit in separate laundry room.

-Home is equipped for your entertainment with a TV in each room.

- Amenities include high speed WIRELESS INTERNET, CABLE TV in each room, DVD with family room, shared laundry room with washer/dryer (NOT coin operated), iron, BBQ

-Capitola Village is a 5 minute drive to Santa Cruz, 40 minute drive from Carmel and Monterey, 40 minutes from Silicon Valley, a 2 hour drive south from San Francisco, 3 hours from Sacramento, and 3 hours from the Napa Valley.

We just love Capitola Village and have been coming here for years. We live about an hour away from Capitola just became owners of the property in October 2011. We have been renting through VRBO for years and are so excited to be renting our place on VRBO now.

Why Julie chose Central Coast California

We chose Capitola Village because of the beautiful beach, the adorable shops, great dining, wine shops, etc. We love parking our car and not moving it all weekend. Capitola Village has so many great family activities such as the Begonia Festical, Surfin Santa, Wine Festivals, etc.

What makes this condo unique

Love that the condo is so bright and homey. Love that there is a tv with cable with every room and sleeps 6-8. The condo is just steps the the beach. LOVE that has a garage and laundry with a carport as well. Parking is hard in Capitola Village so the parking is a big plus.

Relaxing stay, close to everything

We're an active family and like to bring bikes and skateboards with us when we vacation. It was nice to have a secure garage not only for our car, but also for the bikes and boards. There were even surf board racks which made it easy to hang up the bikes during our stay. The home is just off the main plaza - I mean literally no more than a few minute walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. Because we were so close to everything, we didn't have to use the car much. The home was comfortable, and had been tastefully remodeled recently. Open floor plan, huge floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room/slider out to the small balcony which overlooks the streets of Capitola. There were only four of us but the home could easily sleep up to eight with the two bedrooms, three large beds, and living room sofa/sleeper. If you prefer to do your own cooking while on vacation, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals. This is a nice, clean home and well worth the price - we will definitely be back in the near future!

Great location in Capitola, walk to beach, no issues with parking, keep car parked in front of unit. Kitchen well equipped. Unit clean, well communication with owner regarding unit info (lodge in, wi fi, TV, etc).short drive to Santa Cruz. Highly recommend this rental. Hope to get back next summer for our family vacation.

Everything We Needed, in a Fabulous Location!

Feels like HOME away from home

This place is AMAZING!!! Owner responded to questions promptly! The location of this unit is in perfect location... Close to shops, restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream and super close walking distance to the beach. Only 5-6 miles to Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Took 4 12yrs old girls and they had a blast!!! The place is super clean and has everything you need including kitchen stuff to cook (if you want). Has lots of towels and blankets. The 4 girls stayed in the bedroom with 2-dbl beds downstair which is perfect (when you want quiet time) they have their own restroom. The master bedroom is perfect. I just found my favorite place to stay in Capitola! Thank you so much to the owner! Everything is PERFECT!

THE PERFECT GET A WAY!!!

The unit on Cherry Avenue, Capitola Ca. was perfect in every way. The unit was exceptionally clean and well equipped for a beach rental. The property owner provided a handy notebook that described the details of the rental. No questions were left unanswered. We loved walking the short distance to the beach and shopping in the unique village stores. The restaurants are delightful with: live music, reasonable prices, great service, and a wonderful array of delicious food to please ANYONE. The rental is a short drive to Santa Cruz or the Monterey Bay area. We will definitely return to this attractive rental in the months ahead.
