Your host will meet you at the house and give you the house key and show you around. This service is included with the cleaning fee. The House will be cleaned at check in and check out. Additional cleaning at a fee is also available--please ask.

The Neighbourhood:

Seroe Colorado is a community located on the most south eastern point of Aruba, the location for one of Aruba’s most popular beaches--Baby Beach. Seroe Colorado is a sleeping beauty when it comes to beach front real estate on Aruba. The houses are built on coral hilltops, like this property, with a view overlooking the Caribbean Sea. These jewels are being brought back to the former glory.

Fantastic property and vacation!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our time in Aruba and your home helped make that possible. We are not cruise nor are we Eagle beach people- it seems we are baby beach people. We loved the beach and spent quite a bit of time there. In my opinion next to mangrel halto (sp) it offers the best snorkeling on Aruba. We saw so many fish, eels, octopus, squid, turtles and beautiful coral on baby beach.

The house was very well stocked, and Margaret was wonderful- we never would have found it without her. We found it large enough for all six and the view is one I will miss very much- very beautiful! We cooked quite a bit and used the grill as much. We spent a lot of time at the house as the kids were only able to do4-5 hours a day on the beach. The washing machine was a lifesaver. While we loved the southern part of the island there are not a ton of potions for restaurants. We ate at rum reef which we liked- especially the kids. We also went to Kamini's kitchen- 5 times. We loved the food and Kamini became a friend! We would highly recommend this restaurant!

We would love to return to Aruba and would strongly consider your house again- there was too much not to love! Thank you for opening your home up to us- you helped us have a fantastic vacation!

Peaceful well appointed home.

  • 4 of 5

The home is lovely and well taken care of. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The best part is the outdoor area, it is very large with different seating areas. The outdoor shower was a big hit, taking a shower overlooking the sea was spectacular. It is a shame that many homes on the street are abandoned and the roofs are caving in. We were told by the locals (friendliest people) the abandoned homes was a result of the refinery closing and that is was a very safe neighbourhood. We wished there was AC in the living room & kitchen, it gets hot in the summer. We loved all the beach accessories that were provided and the clothesline was handy. The home is a short walk to 2 beautiful beaches, away from the tourists & crowds.

Quite a find!

  • 5 of 5

Our family (my husband, me, and 3 boys ranging from 15-22) had an amazing vacation in Aruba. Jack and Gola's home was exactly what we needed! When we arrived I will admit we were a little concerned that some of the homes in the area were vacant, but it turned out that it was wonderful to be in a quiet place to enjoy the beauty. Martha, the amazing caretaker, met us at the house and showed us everything from where light switches were to how to get to the path to the beach. She also recommended 3 restaurants, all of which we loved (Zeerovers, a Carribean place, and Kamini's kitchen). The house was furnished beautifully and well stocked with everything we needed. We made breakfast and lunch at home and there were more than enough nice pans and dishes to meet our needs. Having a washer and lines to use for drying turned out to be a true bonus! Each bedroom had individual A/C units which made sleeping at night very comfortable and the cross breeze in the living room between the hallway window and door was nice.

The walk to Baby Beach was about 5 minutes and the drive was about 2. Jack and Gola provide chairs and beach towels and there were toys available for smaller children, if needed. There is incredible snorkeling to the left of Baby Beach between the shore and the jetty and the JADS dive center at Baby Beach provided us with a great opportunity to try a "resort style" dive with an instructor for just our family. (My husband is now hooked.) The Arikok National Park was definitely worth a visit and a trip to the Natural Pool should be the list of must dos. The ostrich farm was small but worth the visit and our visit to the donkey sanctuary was a great way to spend an hour.

If you drive past Baby Beach there is an amazing pet cemetery (sounds strange, but it was something we have not seen on any other islands) and a beach filled with shells and goats. There are also local donkeys that really appreciated our fruit rinds.

We didn't know what to expect from Aruba, but it was one of our favorite islands so far. We will definitely return and plan to stay at Jack and Gola's when we do.

WOW what an amazing place.

We had the pleasure of staying at Baby Beach Vacation Home for 10 days during our vacation to Aruba. Having a younger family (kids 4 and 6) we found the location to be perfect, with Baby Beach being so close to the property. The pictures do not do justice to the picturesque location or the home. We found the house to be extremely clean, with all appliances being updated and in good working order. Home was decorated in good taste and amazing landscaping. The owners went above and beyond by providing a very informative itinerary, local cell phone , US /CANADA home phone and beach cruisers for our use. There was nothing you needed to bring, but a set of flip flops and some beach shorts. If you are looking for a quiet, family friendly, functional and well kept property look no further. The owner definitely have their hearts and souls in this Baby Beach Vacation Home.

A Baby Beach Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

On our first visit to Aruba we stayed in a lovely small boutique hotel at the north end the island, but fell in love with Baby Beach at the southern tip. The beach has its name for a reason, and if you have toddlers there is no better beach (you can walk thirty yards into the water and still be only knee deep, with no real waves). This time around we wanted a place nearby that would avoid the hour-long drive south, and we wanted a house so we could grocery shop, make lunches for the beach, and eat at home to avoid the hassle and stress of toddlers in restaurants. If you can relate, and you are looking for something similar, then you have found it.

Baby beach is a 90-second drive away. If you can pack light, without a trunk full of gear and coolers, it is a five minute walk down a foot path at the end of the road.

Two King bedrooms (one with its own bathroom), a third bedroom with two twins (shares bathroom with second Kind bedroom). All with a/c for extra comfort at night. The back patio is an amazing place to spend time. The kitchen is modest but entirely functional (very pleased to have a gas stove and not electric). An apartment-sized brand new dishwasher made cleanup fast. Full size fridge with ice maker and door dispenser. Even a new laundry machine (with lines for drying). Other than a quick lesson that you can't touch the cacti that make up much of the outdoor landscaping, the place was safe and friendly for small children.

Just about everything is provided, including beach towels, bikes, snorkling gear, six fancy beach chairs. Fast internet. Local property manager Martha is helpful and quick in her response. Keypad doors are handy - no keys to lose or shuffle around and share if someone needs to run home quickly (because, again, if you spend the day at Baby Beach you can legitimately just run home quickly).

There's an outdoor BBQ, but we never got around to using it. Landline for free calls to US (I think it's via Google Voice - but this too we never used). Mobile phone with about 25 minutes pre-loaded was handy for calling property manager, or to make a quick call to a local restaurant for reservations. Cable TV with integrated Netflix we didn't really use it (for US travelers be warned - you cannot watch a lot of Netflix stuff when outside the US. Same with other streaming services like Amazon Prime. And, using the house's wifi even on your own device will show you as outside he US)
