Home is beautiful with every amenity you could ask for...did not have to worry about taking linens or soap or spices!! Kitchen beautifully stocked with utensils and pots and pans and dishes! Home is immaculate. Heed warnings about steps to river!!! It is beautiful but be in great shape for walk back up the mountain. This walk def not for anyone that can't walk or/and walk unassisted (toddlers, elderly ). Beds slept great. Jeff is a wonderful host. I had no problem getting in touch for simple questions. He also leaves a comprehensive list of grocery stores, site seeing, etc. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You will not be disappointed!!

Great house and awesome views!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 6 adults, 1 child, and our dog stayed for a really quick weekend stay right before Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room for us, kitchen was great, outdoor space was really neat. We had a nice hike along the river, just down the "stairway to heaven". Jeff was very helpful keeping us updated about the nearby wildfire conditions occurring at the time of our stay. We will be back!

Perfect, quiet cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Jeff was very good with communicating with us with the forest fire going on. The cabin has basically everything you need. Kitchen is fully stocked. The interior of the cabin is beautiful. The view was excellent when the smoke wasn't too bad. The area that the steps walked down to by the river was very quiet and beautiful. We would have spent a lot of time down there if we had more time. The cabin is in a nice quiet community with gated access. We just wish we had more time there, but we will be back again soon.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. What was originally going to be a girls getaway weekend turned into a mom and kids evacuation trip due to hurricane Matthew. The house is gorgeous, well appointed, with beautiful views and close is close to everything. The hospitality of the owner was greatly appreciated by these worried moms. Jeff worked with us when our plans had to change last minute to allow us to arrive earlier and extend our stay. We highly recommend this wonderful rental and the responsive, cooperative owner!
