My wife, Sally and I are excited for you to stay with us! We originally purchased a condo in Belltown to use as a second home in the winter of 2007.
Because of our knack at hosting, great marketing and amazing design, what was just an investment has become a full time business. We currently have 30 properties in the Seattle area that we either own or manage on the behalf of others.
Sally is an interior designer by trade, and I'm sure you'll be able to tell when it comes to the quality items to help you feel comfortable while you are staying with us.
We take our position as hosts very seriously. Our condos are cleaned immaculately and have the best staff in the business. We are both foodies, and welcome the ability to share with you the best places in the city!
Thanks, and we look forward to hosting you!
Seattle Oasis Vacation Rentals purchased this house in 2014
This home is beautifully located, right on the Sammamish River. Beavers, otter, herons and eagles are frequent visitors. Woodinville Wine country is 15 minutes away and Pike Place Market, flagship Nordstrom, Space Needle and Seattle Center, and Seattle waterfront are 25 minutes to the south. Groceries and restaurants are within a five minute drive.
You will love our property! You can pack light. We provide everything you will need to make you comfortable during your stay. Besides towels and linens, we provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels. A high chair and pack n play are available for a flat rental.
There were 6 of us coming just from Tacoma for a 4 day class and wanted a comfortable place to stay to avoid the busy commute each day. We were looking for simple convenience, but got an amazing house that we all loved! The setup was perfect for a group like us with all the separate rooms and a great meeting place in the kitchen. The uniqueness of the house made a not so exciting trip into a fun and exciting trip. We all wished we could stay one more day just to enjoy the house and it's surroundings. I would recommend this house for anyone looking for a fun getaway.
Vey unique, great place for a long weekend gathering, central location. Clean and well appointed. Lots of space, great kitchen, nice backyard with fire pit, propane grill and overhead outdoor space heater. Access to the water on Samamish River. Easy access to grocery store. Quiet neighborhood.
We rented this home for our family and groomsmen when my son was married this summer. It is a fun place to stay and everything was ship shape for our arrival. We did have some trouble finding it using Apple Maps. A call to the Seattle Oasis people was very helpful and got us on our way. The beds were comfy, everything was spotless, and there were plenty of dishes to cook for 11 of us. The biggest drawback of the house was lack of
air conditioning. It would normally not be an issue in Seattle, but it was over 90 degrees the whole time we were there. With the vents, windows and fans it was tolerable at night, but daytime was really hot. I would have appreciated more info on how to maximize the ventilation system to keep the house cool. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and had fun swimming off the dock and relaxing before the big day.
We rented this property for our families that were arriving to Seattle for my brothers wedding. The property is fantastic with a great view of the Sammamish River! The rooms were all very well maintained and the beds were very comfortable.
The first night, we used the grill. Here is where they did not receive a Five Star rating. The propane tank was empty. We did find a propane tank that we could use from the propane heater they had available, but that's my point. My young girls wanted to kick the soccer ball around in the yard, but I found dog feces in both the front and back yards. I don't think the owners of the property owned any dogs, but noticed that both neighbors had dogs...One was very friendly and wandered over to grab a few bites of the bbq.
All in all, I would stay there again!
This started out as a simple trip to bring our daughter back to college near Seattle after her Christmas break with us in Utah. I had never been up to Washington and we thought this was a perfect time to rent a home and make a vacation out of it. This ended up being the perfect house. The beds are amazing! We could not remember the last time we had slept that well. All of our children ranging from 21-10 absolutely enjoyed every aspect of staying in this home. The kitchen floors resemble the solar system and this was great fun for my school aged kids. We all Loved the Jacuzzi and looking out over the water. (so relaxing) The sauna was a great treat also. Upstairs in the loft was a game room equipped with a poker table/ bumper pool. This supplied us with great evening fun. Something that was nice for my wife and I was that the master bedroom is semi detached from the house so if the kids stayed up late to watch movies we could not hear them unless we left the doors open. I could go on and on about how wonderful this house was and how it felt like a home. We hope to come back and stay here again. Amy and her husband were very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood was great and the house was even better than described. The time put in to building this house with all of its unique features is something we will remember for years to come.
This location is prime for the eastside employers, such as Google, Microsoft, and other tech companies. Woodinville with its 100+ wineries is a short minute drive to the north. Downtown Bothell, a five minute drive, has many casual eateries. The Burke-Gilman trail is right across the river (accessible via bridge from the property) and downtown Seattle, with its famous sights, culture and food scene is minutes to the south.
