This beautiful home provide a great place for our family to enjoy spending time together on the nice leather couches and modern bathrooms. We had a great time watching the deer walk by and look forward to coming back soon.

The home was inviting and slept all of us easily. The hot tub was nice after a long day of skiing. Overall we enjoyed it very much.

Awsome Ski Trip

  • 5 of 5

We had 3 different families for a total of 15 people stay at the house for a Wolf Creek ski vacation. Check in and Check out was simple and easy and the house provided all the amenities we needed and more. The house was clean and well maintained and everything seemed to be in good working order. I would recommend this house for anyone needing to stay in the area. Since we did not really have any issues, we did not even need to speak to the Realty company except to clarify a few questions with check-in which they did answer promptly. I hope you have as a much fun as we did when visiting the area.

Gorgeous

  • 5 of 5

This house was beautifully furnished, spacious and very comfortable for myself, three sons and two grandsons. We stayed over Christmas and would like to make this our new tradition. Great lockers and boot space for all our equipment and easy drive to Wolf Creek. Luckily we chose well and we're not affected by the pass closure. We all loved this house. Hope to get a group of friends together to rent it again to ski. Kate

Excellent choice for large family

  • 5 of 5

Two related families shared this house for a week of skiing at Wolf Creek. The living quarters (2nd floor) are divided from the sleeping quarters (1st & 3rd floors). There are four bathrooms, which was adequate for the 13 of us. There were more than enough beds for us. The kitchen and dining room fit us perfectly. The hot-tub was a hit with the kids, although admittedly we used it less than we imagined. The laundry room meant we didn't have to hunt down a public Laundromat. In general, the house was clean and more than adequate for our needs. We never felt cramped. The kids spent much of their evenings curled up on the couch watching basketball games or movies before going to bed.

The neighborhood was beautiful and full of wildlife: tons of mule deer, turkeys, and rabbits. The town of South Fork is not "Party Central," but I consider that a good thing. We're a family with 9 kids, so we're not looking for bars. the people in South Fork are friendly... good people all around.

There were a few things that could be improved upon at the house. The shower head in the 1st-floor bathroom needs to be replaced. It is clogged with lime buildup, so it sprays in random directions. The driveway is steep right next to the road, so you either need a four-wheel drive to get out or you need several people to help push the car up the driveway and onto the snowy road. This will not be an issue in the summer and may not be an issue under low-snow conditions, but we had a ton of snow and the driveway and roads were 100% packed snow. To solve this problem, we simply parked on the street.

Bottom line: It would have been hard to find a better value for lodging with this many amenities anywhere else. We had everything we needed for 4 adults and 9 kids, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, just a few miles away from Wolf Creek.

Family fun

  • 4 of 5

My siblings and I along with our spouses were able to surprise our mother with a wonderful weekend stay in South Fork. The home provided all the amenities we were hoping for along with beautiful surroundings and views of wildlife.

My husband and brother did have to push the reset button on one of the water heaters down stairs in order to get hot water to the kitchen, but other than that small issue everything else went very well. The pillows could be replaced, but they weren't terrible.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this home to others with large families who want to have quality time in a beautiful part of Colorado.

Great space, easy living.

  • 4 of 5

Stayed for the Fourth of July and most of the following week.

Great place with lots of living space (indoor and outdoor), updated bathrooms and a newer, functional kitchen. Enough kitchen essentials for easy cooking, and the large dining room table came in handy for large group meals. Plenty of towels, paper towels, toilet paper (all the stuff you could easily overlook).

Check-in an check-out were easy and well coordinated, and there was a nearby place to take garbage.

Overall, an easy four stars for value, cleanliness, functionality and location. Made it easy to entertain family and friends, and focus on the fun things to do around South Fork.

Highly recommended.
