We named our home 'La Casa de la Luz,' the house of light, as it features 50 windows that open to expansive mountain views. Remote and private location, yet 20 minutes from resort activities. Each luxury suite includes a private jacuzzi spa tub, bathroom suite and shower, writing desk and/or reading nook, and a western art collection. We have a large library (hundreds of books available)/sitting area upstairs with amazing views and outdoor patio. Our home has a fabulous chef's kitchen that opens to a dining table for 12 with additional seating available. Private spa services may be arranged on site, and catering is available upon request. This is the perfect getaway for up to six couples, a wonderful place for family reunions, and a perfect venue for an intimate wedding (up to 24 people total) with a minister available at nearby log-cabin church. La Casa de la Luz is the sanctuary of your longing.
We also invite you to view our other listing, Greenbrook, #396293, which is a charming rustic log cabin perfect to house your additional guests for your family gathering or small wedding. Sleeps up to four adults plus one to two children (six maximum).

This is an amazing property. We rented it as home base for my family on my wedding weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. It is beautiful (both the house and the views) luxurious and great for just lounging/relaxing (with the pool, hammock, sauna, whirlpool tubs and mountain views) and for entertaining. It is equipped with anything you could want, including a kitchenaid mixer. Mindy was great with prompt responses to all our questions. We just left yesterday and I am already looking for an excuse to go back!
This property was simply Amazing. All or our guests felt the same way. In addition, the house was stocked with everything you could want to cook with. Gorgeous views as well.
This was our third summer of spending a week with our family at the Casa. We love the surroundings and the home is stunning.
Our extended family had a wonderful time at La Casa de La Luz. It is a lovely home, well appointed with more than enough room for all of us to stretch out and never get on one another's nerves. The kids loved the indoor pool and Mindy and Frank were available and helpful when needed. It's in a beautiful setting and a short drive to the many amazing hikes in the Rocky Mountain National Park. High marks!
Our family has shared quality time in a vacation home for the past 5 years. This was or second time to enjoy The Copeland Institute. The property is set on a very large parcel of land which includes trails and quiet meditation spots. It is also located within walking distance to Allenspark, which features restaurants, a few shops, and trail heads. Most nights we ate on the property, enjoying a state of the art kitchen and every kind of cooking preparation tool you could possibly imagine. We also appreciated the stunning views and dining table which would accommodate the whole family. Rooms are wonderful, and each has a nice view and complete bath. The indoor pool gave the kids a lot to do, as did the game room. As the financier and planner of this event, I greatly appreciate the efficiency and accommodation of the property managers. I've had experiences before which made the vacation stressful, but that is not at all the case here. When you rent a property there is indeed some anxiety in not knowing exactly what to anticipate, but please believe me when I say this property excels in each and every way.....
10 adults - 7 children - an amazing week. My wife and I took our 4 kids, their spouses and the 7 Grandkids, newborn to 5 to the mountains. The house was perfect for us. Lots of room for everyone. Kitchen was great for all the cooking we did. A bedroom for each family was wonderful, and they are spacious with mountain views in each. The dining room easily accommodated all of us. The great room was perfect for hanging out and seeing mountains in every direction. The room in the downstairs was a great area for the kids to play. The pool was the perfect size for all of us to have fun. The library is also a great place to hang out and catch up.
Obviously Rocky Mountain National Park was fabulous. And if you want to learn to fly fish I recommend Kirk's Fly Shop in Estes Park.
All in all the experience in the house was perfect. It is close to everything you need or want to do. I would not change a thing.
