Lovely cottage inside and out, and a super location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed the last week in June, and had great weather and a wonderful time. Cottage has been updated inside and out, and is in great condition. There are now stone steps right to the door of the cottage (other folks mentioned lack of these. They're there now). There are two A/C units to keep you cool, but we had nice breezes. So, we mostly kept the windows open. We were able easily walk (3 mins) to the center for restaurants and bit further for the beach, but all was quiet back at the cottage for getting some much needed rest. Tough to go wrong with this one.

Mid June stay

  • 4 of 5

The condo was lovely with a well- equipped kitchen.

We stayed for 4 nights, The location was fantastic and we loved walking into town.

The one bathroom was very clean, great shower head (except for my 6"3 son who had to bend his head a bit-he did not complain)...but for 6 people -an additional powder room would have been an asset.

The condo was very comfortable but as it was very warm temperatures when we stayed, the 2 bedrooms without the window A/C unit were a bit warm. A ceiling fan or stand-up fan would have made it more comfortable.

Other, than that! we would recommend staying there and might return.

Great Space with a few hiccups

  • 2 of 5

First let me say that the place was clean, freshly renovated, and well decorated. However, apparently the renovations aren't finished. A large project was undertaken during our stay that involved water interruptions and no hot water, not to mention the smell of oil throughout the day. This project was not an emergency repair but a planned renovation. What was not considered in the renovations was any type of sound insulation. You can hear everything! We were awoken at 5:15 in the morning by talking and doors closing by the owners in the lower unit. Not to mention the owners were lurking around most of the weekend getting the house ready for summer. The owners did try to make it right by giving us a gift certificate towards dinner one night, but it did not compensate for the inconveniences and the price paid for the weekend. Hopefully things will be better and all these projects wrapped up for guests this summer. As a an owner on VRBO I would never show my face to guests or have any type of work done to the property while guests were there!!

Perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

Very well appointed cottage with all the amenities: washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas grill, wifi and A/C. It was tastefully decorated and clean!

The location is perfect! Right off Shore Road with easy walks to the beach, Marginal Way, Perkins Cove and the little village shops.

We plan to return next year!

Perfect spot for a family. Spacious and clean. Close to the beach and shops. Fully equipped kitchen so that the family did not need to go out for every meal. We will definitely be back next year.

Great Location. A block from town and a very short walk to the beach. We had a blast and the weather was great even though it was early June we were able to take great walks on the Marginal way and the beach.

The cottage is perfect for a family get away. We are looking forward to coming back agin next year.
