Carpinteria Cottage - Designer Comfort, Walk to Carpinteria Beach
First order of business when checking into this wonderful cottage: pack a picnic and head to the beach! This sweet spot in downtown Carpinteria is not only within walking distance to wide sandy beaches, but great restaurants, surf shops, boutiques, and antiques are all along the way!
The home has recently gone through a delightful makeover with attention to fine detail and luxurious finishes. The location is ideal, the setting is relaxed, with interiors that are refined and well designed.
The Living Room, with two sofas, centers around the warm and inviting fireplace and a large flat screen TV. Silk drapes of rich warm hues adds to the already sophisticated ambiance.
Whether dining casually or setting a formal table, the Dining Room in the center of the home is a distinguished place for guests to join in conversation and enjoy memorable meals.
In the bright Kitchen, Cararra marble counters and professional style appliances are the foundation to this well-equipped culinary hub. With the Laundry located here as well, the space is a perfectly suited space to multi-task. A door leads to the backyard.
The Master Bedroom features a king-size bed and is located just off the Living Room. A second Bedroom opens to a back patio and offers a queen-size bed. Just outside is a great spot for morning coffee at a table set up for four. The third Bedroom faces the backyard, and offers a great night's sleep on a comfortable king-size bed. For added convenience, this Bedroom has an en suite Bathroom.
The Hall Bathroom services all guests in luxurious spa-like style, with marble accents, large walk-in glass shower, and contemporary soaking tub.
Out back, the large paved yard is fenced and fully enclosed with a locking driveway gate. Guests can choose to open the driving gate and park securely, or leave the gate locked to insure privacy. This conveniently encloses the space for younger guests to have a safe place to play. Adults can keep a watch on the lively activity from 2 seating areas in the sunshine, or under a large shady avocado tree. Cook up a fabulous meal on the outdoor grill, and enjoy leisurely dining under the pergola with stars overhead. The firepit adds an inviting warm glow and will be a wonderful place to end a busy day in this great coastal town.
This coastal retreat is a wonderful home base from which to venture out and explore the area. The Carpinteria Bluffs and Salt Creek Marsh Nature Preserves are each nearby, offering walking trails and great bird watching opportunities. The Annual Avocado Festival is always a must for travellers and locals alike. For more to see and do, Santa Barbara is only 12 miles away.
No need to look any further for the perfect seaside escape. Live life as a local in the sleepy little beachside town of Carpinteria, where the relaxed lifestyle invites guests to kick off their shoes, head to the beach, and slow down the busy pace of life.

7-Night minimum (in the fixed weeks above) for all bookings made before Nov 1st.

Stays of less than 30 nights are subject to a 10% Lodging Tax + $2/night Tourism Tax.
$325 Cleaning Fee (14+ night stays require additional cleaning fees), Booking Fee (varies based on reservation cost).
$2,000 security deposit refundable within 14 days of checkout. Deposit is reduced to $500 with purchase of Damage Waiver.
30+ night stays require extra security deposit, and do not qualify for the damage waiver program.

We love your house and town of Carpinteria. This is our 2nd time staying at this property and we absolutely adore it! We appreciate the extra accommodations that this town and house have to offer. The beach is a short distance away, the grill at the property made for great BBQ sessions, the beach chairs were great to have, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable! Cannot wait to return to this lovely town with such lovely people. Santa Barbara is a short 10-15 minute drive on the 101 freeway.
We rented for a work trip and the close proximity to restaurants, stores and beach made it perfect for our group sharing one car. The huge backyard was perfect for entertaining.
Convenient location, very tasteful furnishings. Comfy beds and linens. Well furnished kitchen. Walking distance to beach and all Of Carpenteria's charm. We enjoyed our extended stay.
