Lovely cabin

Cabin was beautiful, well maintained, clean and exactly as pictured. Well stocked with all essentials. Great outdoor space with adequate seating. As a follow up to others reviews, dishwasher was fully functional and we experienced NO issues with power outages in the cabin. Wonderful weekend!

This was out second stay at Camp Twig and we were really excited to be staying there again. The cabin has new owners and the difference was noticeable. The cabin is picture perfect. However, upon arrival there were some things not working, including the gas wood burning stove and the dishwasher. We drove for several hours on a cool, rainy day looking forward to starting and sitting by the stove for the evening. On the third day, power to half of the house went out further limiting use of listed amenities such as tv, internet, lighting in the kitchen, bathroom, hallways, and front porch. We contacted the local caretaker twice during our stay. He and his wife were very helpful, but not able to fix everything that was not working in the time we were there, understandably. They did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable during the stay and it was greatly appreciated.

Owner's Response: Christine, We apologize that there was some inconveniences during your stay. There was a small gas leak so we did not think it advisable to leave the gas fireplace on during your stay as a saftey precaution. The internet is not used much up there so unfortunately I've found it is necessary to reset the modem now and then. We will be sure to leave a note for future guests on with instructions on how to do so. The dishwasher has since been repaired, although I understand that does not change the fact that it was not available for use during your stay. We will certainly look into the issue with the lights not working. We appreciate your feedback. Thanks, Lynne and Tyra
