Lol Ka'naab is a centrally located complex on Half Moon Bay in Akumal, a turtle sanctuary. Just a short walk to either Akumal Bay or Yalku Lagoon. This unit is a popular ground floor unit with amazing ocean, beach and pool views. You will find it is one of the best values in the area too!
This is a meticulously maintained building, and the only condo with potable water (reverse osmosis), and one of the few condos with a beachfront pool in the area. The onsite manager is a bonus, and lucky guests will get to experience the turtles with them.
The place is beautiful... quiet and relaxing. The beach house was clean, although needs some major maintainance. The bedroom AC is terrible, makes a lot of noise and we had to keep turning it off, thankfully it wasn't that warm when we went.
The door knobs are all rusty and get stuck, not good for someone with arthritis.
The property manager is a mean old man who from day 1 had an attitude, we were staying with a child and were told to leave the house anytime the cleaning lady came!!! Y??? Even if we were in the middle of lunch or nap, whatever! How can we be expected to just leave the house with all our valuable just because it was being cleaned!
I would definitely consider staying at Akumal again but not at this place. Oh and the beach is very rocky, can't go in without beach shoes.
Right on the beach. Great location. Comfortable condo that is clean and well maintained. Off street parking. Onsite property manager with excellent customer service. Great scuba diving nearby.
My wife, two teenage kids and I stayed for 6 days and wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the first floor because the kids could jump in the pool or walk out to the beach with us being only a few steps away. The condo is well maintained and very clean. The maids came every day and kept the place spotless. We enjoyed meeting the manager, Elio and his wife, Darlene. They made us feel welcome and were very helpful in suggesting things to do in the area. We enjoyed visiting Xcaret, Xplor and Tulum, which are a short drive away. We walked to the La Buena Vida for dinner and drinks 3 nights. The food, service and atmosphere were awesome. We highly recommend Lol Ka'naab!
The condo was immaculate, well-equipped, breezy and comfortable. Manager was available and helpful, all staff were friendly, and professional. The pool was beautiful and the beach was amazing with stunning views. We enjoyed the snorkeling, and wished we had taken the kayaks out sooner! Great restaurants and basic amenities within walking distance. We had a rental care and there were many attractions that were close and easy to get to, such as the many cenotes, Tulum, and other snorkeling beaches. Would love to return with extended family- a perfect getaway for all ages.
the condo was clean and well maintained and in a great location for all amenities. You would need a car or take a taxi to get groceries because the small stores in Akumal are pricy and don't have much selection. Snorkeling with turtles was a highlight for the kids and i would recommend this location for families but choose a ground floor suite for easier access to the pool.
We really enjoyed our condo in akumel. The location was right on the beach with the town of akumel and the turtle beach about 2 miles away. We also enjoyed the locale restaurants. The condo was perfect for out family of four with a queen bed in one bedroom and 2 twins in the other.

This is a quiet beach, but it has all the amenities (restaurants, bars, dive shop, boutiques, tienda) that you will ever need. It is conveniently located just a short walk between Akumal Bay and Yalku Lagoon - two other destination points in Akumal.
