The property is stylish and comfortable. Guests can enjoy a coffee in our private courtyard garden, a cosy night in by the open fire, or a fun night in Kinsale town just a few minutes walk away.

Cork city and Garrettstown beach (a popular surfing destination) are both just 20 minutees from Kinsale. Oysterhaven Water Park is approximately 15 minutes away.

About Property Manager/Owner

I was born and raised in West Cork, just a mile from Garrettstown beach. After spending some years living abroad I feel very lucky to be back, and living in such a beautiful part of the world.

I'm looking forward to welcoming guests and introducing them to the best of West Cork and Ireland.

When I travel myself, I usually pick destinations with rich culture and warm people. Favourite holiday to date ... a 9 day sailing and scuba diving holiday in the Maldives. Amazing!

Lovely house in Kinsale town

My family and I stayed at the townhouse Kinsale over the Christmas period. The house was lovely and the host was very welcoming and helpful. The kitchen is modern, has a large dining table and opens to the courtyard garden. The bedrooms are clean, bright and spacious. The location is a quite residential street and is very central so everything was in walking distance. I would definitely stay at this property again if returning to Kinsale.

Central location in beautiful Kinsale

This home was perfect for our family of six. The kitchen was well equipped, with plenty of seating. Carmen was very responsive by email and very helpful with our enquiries.

Parking is a bit tight, but is a small price to pay for the proximity to the town - you can walk to the town center in a few minutes.

Great holiday rental

I have just returned from a fantastic stay in Kinsale. The house was modern, spacious and clean with everything needed for a great holiday. The location was fantastic - just a minute or two to the old town centre. We had no problem with on street parking for both cars. we would definitely stay here again!

value for money and close to town centre

The property itself was very tidy and clean and everything you would need for a self-catering stay. I would also say it was much better value for money than other properties in the area. It really was just a 5 minute walk into town but it is on a hill so people with walking difficulties may struggle but generally it was quick and easy.

The house numbering on the street is very random and it did take a while to find the house so some extra directions might be useful for people and taxi drivers.

On the downside the showers weren't very powerful at all. I did not use the shower in the main bathroom but the reviews of the other people I was staying with were extremely bad and by the end of the week everyone was using the en-suite shower. This was the only one I used and the power to it was pretty poor also so the fact that everyone else was using the en-suite must mean the other shower was practically useless. Plus the hot water for the other shower wouldn't last long and the en-suite was the only one that had hot water throughout the entire day. As a female with long hair I struggled to get shampoo and conditioner out of my hair to give some idea about the water pressure. The heating is also very old and would be difficult to control to a desired temperature and we ended up just switching it off completely.

These were the only downsides to the stay though and the owner did get back to me quickly with a question I had which was appreciated and as a general stopover in Kinsale this house ticks most of the boxes.

perfect location, beautiful house.

This property is perfect for a stay in Kinsale. The house has been recently renovated so it is beautifully presented with all mod cons and equipment. The kitchen opens onto a private courtyard which is perfect for sitting out with a morning cup of coffee, or an evening glass of wine. We were close to shops, markets, and night life, but the house is delightfully quite for a central location. Street parking is free and we usually had no problem finding a spot. The host, Carmen, was very welcoming and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel right at home.

Perfect house for family & friends, great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It's location was great, a short walk from the town and close to everything you could need. The house was clean, modern and had all the comforts of home.
