This home was perfect for our extended family of 10 to stay over the holidays. Good size bedrooms with comfortable beds. Closets all over with everything you could think of that you might need during your stay. And plenty of living space to spread out. We did our gift exchange in the family room and we were all so impressed with the amount of space we had for 10 people, piles and piles of presents and still room left over for the kids to play! The home is older, but it's well-maintained and has special touches of architecture all over. I only wish we would've been there in a different season to enjoy the backyard, which looked amazing! There is some road noise from the highway nearby, but after awhile you don't notice it. The positives about this house outweigh that minor annoyance! Thank you, Dave, for such an enjoyable stay!
It was a great place to stay for our family Christmas gathering! The owner was great to work with and made every effort to make our stay wonderful. Everyone in our group mentioned wanting to come back again! The house was clean and had so many extras! We also enjoyed the nice backyard and creek! Thank you so much!!!
The Cleveland House is ideal for a relaxing weekend stay. The house and grounds are beautiful, with thoughtful touches throughout the house. There were plenty of towels and blankets for those who wanted extra. There was enough of space for our group of 12 to comfortably enjoy dinner together in the dining room. This was a much nicer, homier option that being divided up into groups of 2 in a hotel. Everyone in the group was delighted with the charming antiques throughout the house and the creek out in the yard. We will definitely try to stay here again when we are back in town.
My family and I had a wonderful time at the Cleveland House!
It was everything as promised. Great back yard. Pleanty of space.
We would recommend to all!
The house is big. We felt very comfortable staying there. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly when we had questions.
This accessible, beautiful and spacious old home was a wonderful spot for a scenic writing retreat. Our group had more than enough space to settle in, get cozy, and find space to write. When it was time to gather as a group, we could easily come together around the large dining room table or gather in the comfy living room. We had a variety of special needs among us, and the space accommodated all of them. I really appreciated that the owner respected our privacy and all our questions were answered in the house guidelines book.
The owners had more than the essentials available like coffee and tea, and a bit of breakfast food. There were games and puzzles available when we needed a writing break. And when we had a somewhat serious issue at the house, the owner not only took care of it immediately, but went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated appropriately. You can tell the owners truly understand hospitality and know how to take good care of their renters. I highly recommend The Cleveland House!
