Perfect location for your Boston stay with a comfortable atmosphere. This unit was inspired and draws on elements from some of the best hotel suites I've ever stayed in al over the world without losing it's North End charm. Our goal is to have you leave thinking this was the nicest place you have ever stayed and we are confident that you will. From the texture of the towels we've selected to the quality of the mattresses we're confident you won't be able to find a better place to stay.
This picturesque 800sf North End unit in Bostons famous Italian District completed renovations in 2015 and is professionally decorated with a hotel suite feel. Complete with a 52' TV and a spa like 5 star bathroom, 3 shower heads, Bluetooth controlled speakers in the shower, heated tile floor and LED lighting. Perfect to play your favorite tune and relax at the end of a long day exploring the city.
You won't need a car. Walk out your front door into the city and see most of what the city has to offer without even needing a taxi. All of Boston's best attractions- Faneuil Hall, Government Center, the Statehouse, the Freedom Trail, Boston Common, Frog Pond, Charles RIver Esplanade, Mikes Pastry, Neptune's Restaurant, and Quincy Market, just to name a few are a short walk away. The MBTA is also close if you do want to venture out of the downtown to other attractions like Fenway park or Harvard University in Cambridge it won't be a problem.
Please note there are two slight drawbacks to the unit. There is RF interference with the TV remote while sitting on the couch. We are also trouble shooting an alarm in the building stairway that has gone off a few times over the last couple years. It doesn't reach the bedrooms, but If you are sensitive to noises it may bother you in the living room as it can be heard there.
Unit is in a very good shape, clean, great interior design, great location!
The space was clean, comfortable and modern. It comfortably slept 6. The host was very prompt when answering questions, and when a problem did arise, he was prompt about getting it fixed. The apartment was in a great location! Right downtown and close to many attractions. We had no trouble finding it, and no trouble getting around from there. We relied solely on public transportation, which was very easily accessible. I would definitely recommend and book again.
we stayed at this amazing little apartment in Boston. The North End was the perfect place for our trip - pretty central to everything. The alley was also great. We really never had to leave to feed ourselves for bfast, lunch or dinner. Best VRBO I have ever been to. Will definitely stay there again.
This luxurious first floor accomodation is not evident from street level. However as soon as you open the apartment door the excellent taste of the owner is revealed in the decoration and furnishings. The lounge/diner is spacious and very comfortable, the kitchen is state of the art, and very well equipped. The two bedrooms are very comfortable with ample facilities.
The apartment is very well situated in the Italian Quarter of the City, with an abundance of very popular Italian restaurants. Across from the premises, there is a very well stocked and varied general food store which we found very helpful for the occasions we self catered. The proximity of the apartment to the Quincy Market and surrounding area was a real bonus and spent many hours there eating, shopping and just enjoying the atmosphere. The nearby open topped bus and trolley rides (which included a complimentary boat ride around the harbour) were excellent value for money, and were a must to see everything. We would have no reservations about recommending the accomodation to anyone. In fact if we ever visit Boston again the apartment would be our first choice for accommodation.
We (a family from Switzerland) spent 3 weeks in Boston and enjoyed our stay in the condo at Salem Street. The apartment is very central, restaurants, shops and T Station are nearby and you don't need a car for visiting the places of interest.
The apartment is very clean and stylish and well equipped with modern kitchen and bathrooms. It's quite dark with only two windows. The windows in the sleeping rooms lead into an ugly noisy backyard; you keep them closed better. The neighborhood is very very noisy and sleeping may be a problem. The wireless signal ist weak and your internet session may be interrupted quite often. But these are only little problems. All in all we can recommend this location and would come back for a next stay in Boston
This property is located within walking distance to all the best restaurants and historical sites Boston has to offer. You won't need a cab or to use the Subway for most of your trip.
