The Owner purchased this cottage in 1992
Quiet cozy cottage loved it could use some improvements to the heat not the best when really cold
The view was beautiful and the cabin was homey and relaxing-the perfect place to spend a weekend away! The hot tub was great, and we made good use of the fire pit out back.
This cabin in the Shenandoah Valley was secluded and gave a nice opportunity for a quick romantic getaway from DC for a weekend. I would recommend anyone coming in the winter to stock up on firewood, as without it the cabin will be quite cold. There was an initial stack of wood and some fire starters available but definitely stock up and the windows are drafty. We ventured to Wal-Mart to get some firewood and it did not work as well as the wood they had in the cabin on arrival. One recommendation to the owner would be to keep a light on for late night arrivals.
