Welcome to our Home away from Home, a 2450 sq. ft. 3 story house with 4 beds, 3.5 baths, and a 2 car garage. Sleeps are 8-11. The home sits at only 500 ft to Coronado Beach and the Coronado Ferry Landing, where you are able to see the spectacular skyline city views across the Coronado Bay Bridge each day.
This luxurious and professionally staged home contains wonderful décor and neutral tones. Inside this home you will enjoy a delightful ambiance, created with an abundance of windows, a number of balconies, and a rooftop deck.
This home has hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, a chef's gourmet kitchen with 6 gas burner stove, double ovens, a dishwasher, a granite island and counter tops. We have a large wine cooler for those who like to relax at night. There is a wonderful entertaining area that opens up to the family room, where you can find plenty of seating. Children have the TV, DVDs and game consoles to keep them busy after a long day out.
Up the open staircase you will find a spa-like master suite with a whirlpool tub and shower, high soaring ceilings and a king size bed. There are also 2 additional queen bedrooms upstairs. Each bedroom has its own 40 inch flat screen TV. The roof top deck on 4th floor is right off the master suite. Enjoy the view of the Coronado Bay and San Diego Bay skyline while fireworks pop each evening during the summer. Have a barbecue or sit back and relax on our fine patio furniture and eat from our 8 seat table.
Down on the first floor, you will find another family suite, with a queen bed and sleeper sofa. Kids can enjoy their own TV, watch numerous movies on DVD and play Xbox360. The entire home is wired for high speed internet.
Across the soaring 11,179 ft Coronado Bay Bridge from San Diego Bay is the relaxed Southern California beach town of Coronado Island with its endless sunshine and bayside overlooking the San Diego skyline. It is the most amazing view you have ever seen.
Coronado is a quiet, homey village, and has a ferry that commutes back to the San Diego Convention Center and Midway Military Ship Museum at downtown San Diego. Stroll down 1 mile of Orange Avenue, considered as the main street to the heart of a pedestrian paradise, hosting 5 star restaurants, 3 of which are waterfront premier and world class shopping venues, and a charming collection of eclectic art galleries.
For those golfers out there, we have the Glorietta 18 hole public golf course with views of the ocean and famous bridge.
Coronado is an island made up of 33 sq. miles of land, 28 Acres of ocean front and surrounded by Pacific Ocean. Coronado Beach is awarded the #1 world's best beach in the USA. The famous Hotel Del Coronado resides here, a national historical landmark visited by celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, and heroes like Charles Lindbergh, as well as 14 presidents. Its a Victorian beachfront masterpiece has become a natural treasure. Brunch is the best at this hotel.
Coronado is a sophisticated beach resort town. Ride your rented bicycles or tricycles along the winding waterfront bike paths across the street. Cast your line off the fishing pier or sit back and relax while watching the sail boats glide by. Take a stroll around Coronado Village. Bikes are the best way to get around this small beach town, as parking is difficult during summer visitor months. Free Public Parking is across the street until 6pm, or paid parking in front of the home until 6pm. Free after 6pm-8am.

Over the Coronado Bay Bridge from San Diego is the resort city of Coronado , "The Crown City". Also known as Coronado Island, it is home to the beautiful Coronado Beach, Coronado Village, and the famous Hotel Del Coronado. This beachfront house is a three story home with a lovely view of the downtown San Diego skyline and Pacific Ocean. The house is very contemporary and designed with an exquisite taste. It is only half a block walk to the beach, and the Coronado Ferry Landing. I can hop on the ferry and be in San Diego within 10 minutes. Coronado is an amazing place to visit, as well as to live in, all year long. The people, the shops, the restaurants with a variety of cuisine, all play a key part to this gorgeous place.
What makes this House unique
Not only do you get to have amazing views and experience the full time homey feeling with the comforts of your own home: you get it in a luxurious way, from relaxing in spa-like bathrooms to unwinding in a modern living space. You can enjoy games and movies for the whole family after a full day out. For a nice dinner together, there is a brand new barbecue on the top deck, where you can relax and have a good time. Take our two umbrellas and 4 deck chairs to the beach. Children can ride the waves with our body boards. You can ride around Coronado on one of your rented bikes located across the street at the Coronado Ferry Landing. We are located in a perfect area across the San Diego Bay and situated in the busy commercial area of restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, stores, and art galleries.

Very Disappointed -- Cockroach Infestation
Rented this condo for our first family vacation for our young family. We rented this so we could have a large kitchen and living area where we could enjoy family meals with our young children and enjoy family meals with their grandparents. Unfortunately the first morning i woke up, i went to the kitchen and turned the lights on and german cockroaches scattered everywhere across the kitchen counter (i have numerous pictures and video i sent the owner). Now mind you, i ran a pest control company for numerous years and know these come from a sanitation issue and would not be resolved in a short period of time. We had plans to go to the San Diego zoo so we left the rental, not being able to enjoy breakfast at the rental as we weren't going to cook or eat in a kitchen infested with roaches. I contacted the owner on the issue immediately, but didn't hear back from her until the afternoon. At that time we had returned to the rental after the zoo to get packed back up and interrupt our vacation to move to a new rental at the last minute. The owner apologized and said she would refund my money for the future nights. I requested a refund for all of the nights including the 1 night we stayed there. I stated we hadn't been able to enjoy the large place for the reason we had rented it...family meals. We also had to interrupt our family vacation and scramble to find another place and pay a premium for it due to the last minute situation. At that point she got very agitated, started talking over me, wouldn't let me speak, yelled at me to "Get out of my rental"...then hung up on me. Obviously we're very disappointed in our experience and wouldn't recommend this rental due to sanitation issues as well as lack of professionalism from owner.
OWNERS RESPONSE- This site is the second site in which this family has posted the same review twice. We have had a great number of tenants in our home in the last 4 years and this is the first time i have ever got complaints over roaches. In fact this is probably the first complaint if any in the last year. My guests had probably witnessed one or two roaches on the floor but to say it was infested with roaches is a much exaggerated comment. We have had many guests before and after this one with no problems or issues.
Yes i was a little agitated as i think this family took advantage of the situation with seing one or two bugs on the floor and wanted a free vacation. They had already had an early check in, and spent one night going on two. They were still there at 5pm the next day. I would think that if they were that unhappy with the few bugs they saw on the floor then they would of left immediately that morning instead of staying until evening at 5pm. He was also very rude demanding his one night payment back.
What they didnt read in the contract is that they can leave the premises anytime but they will still be liable for the whole stay. I was good enough to charge them for the one night they slept and re embursed them the other three nights. I could of held them liable said Homeaway and kept their entire payment. They also had the winter rate which was already cheap. Some clients just love to complain and try to get all they think that they deserve with a free vacation while doing it. I hear it all the time from other home owners. Sorry but i never did receive any photos or videos of my infestation so he is again over exagerating..
There is no home with 100 % good rating as there is always that one who is not happy. Please read all of my other reviews on Homeaway as you can see they are very good.

My family comprised of 6 adults and 4 children found this a lovely, convenient place to stay accommodating all of us comfortably with all amenities needed. The one downside was a lack of bedside tables. We would stay there again and would recommend it to others.
We really enjoyed our stay on Coronado. This condo has the best location.
Modern and convenient place one can dream to spend the vacation at!
It is definitely a luxury condo! Very modern high end multi level town home with 4 bedrooms. Professionally decorated, very comfortable furniture and beds, towels are added benefits. Great kitchen with all the amenities and cooking pots/pans. Located at a short walk to the ferry and restaurants. Beach bikes is a big plus as cruising around the island becomes easy. We will definitely be back and we would highly recommend this place to rent as Amanda was very fast in replies and took good care of us. Great place near the Ocean!
First class home in great location on Coronado
This place is top notch! Very clean, modern high end multi level town home. Plenty of room for our group of 5 adults, 2 teenagers. Professionally decorated, very comfortable furniture and beds, Luxury towels wee a nice touch. Great kitchen with all the amenities. Located a short walk to ferry, restaurants, shops. Beach cruiser bikes provided were a big plus as we cruised the island each morning. Highly recommend staying here, we will be back!
Amazing, convenient, and full of extras
We rented this home for a family of 10 to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The home was exactly as described including the awesome kitchen, beautiful view from the rooftop patio with grill, heater, and dining table. The lady who takes care of the home was so very accommodating to let us put our luggage in the garage when we arrived earlier than expected. We spent the afternoon exploring and found grocery stores and liquor stores within walking distance. The transit company provides free shuttle service during the summer, and can be picked up by the ferry landing and all along Orange Street. There was no need to rent a vehicle. We had questions about a fan and propane refill; and, after calling the owner, the local caretaker came to refill the propane within a few minutes. She was helpful with many questions we had, and offered so many suggestions about everything the house offers. Our children and grandchildren loved the bikes - rode almost every day all over. The convenient location is such a plus for this house. - just a ferry ride to San Diego or a shuttle ride to the Hotel del Coronado or any number of awesome restaurants or stores.

THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO AND SEE IN CORONADO AND SAN DIEGO. WE HAVE THE BASEBALL STADIUM FOR GAMES AND FIREWORKS AS WELL AS THE FAMOUS SAN DIEGO ZOO, WILD LIFE SAFARI PARK, SEA WORLD, MUSEUM DISTRICT, DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO, THE FAMOUS GAS LAMP DISTRICT FOR BARS AND ENTERTAINMENT. LEGO LAND IS WITHIN 30 MINUTE DRIVE. WHALE WATCHING IN THE OCEAN AND SEA LIONS AT LA JOLLA BEACH, IN CORONADO WE HAVE THE FERRY LANDING DISTRICT WHERE THERE ARE PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS, MUSIC IN THE PARK, COFFEE STANDS AND SUVENIOR STORES AND ICE CREAM PARLORS. YOU CAN ALSO RIDE AROUND THE ISLAND OF CORONADO OR GO ACROSS THE FERRY TO SAN DIEGO DOWNTOWN WHERE YOU HAVE SEA PORT VILLAGE. HERE ARE PLENTY OF HIGH END OCEAN SIDE RESTAURANTS, MID WAY MILITARY SHIP MUSEUM WHERE YOU CAN TAKE A TOUR AND LOTS OF ENTERTAINERS ON THE OCEAN AND IN THE PARK. THERE ARE THREE OUTLET STORES WHERE BRAND NAME SHOPPING STORES ARE CHEAP. TWO OPEN AIR MARKETS FOR FRUIT AND VEG. YOU CAN RENT YOUR OWN BOAT FOR THE DAY AT THE MARINA AND CHECK OUT THE SEA LIFE.
