Sea Grape is one of five units at Casas de la Playa Central located in the heart of Flagler Beach; one half-block from the beach, and within walking distance of most places in this quaint beach community. This one-bedroom one-bath unit has been recently converted to vacation rental and has been available since February 2015. Walk to restaurants, bars, the post office, the Pier and most shops, and galleries, as well to the farmers market.
My partner and I fell in love with Flagler Beach over 30 years ago, and bought this property 1n 2003 while we were both teaching in Gainesville, FL. We have been remodeling this five cottage complex over the past year and have three units ready for vacation rental now in this complex and two units elsewhere in Flagler Beach. We have been offering vacation rentals in Flagler Beach since 2001. We now live in Miami Springs, and plan to retire in Flagler Beach in the future. I welcome your inquiries through this website, or by phone, or e-mail. I will respond quickly. Although we no longer live close to Flagler Beach, we visit often, and we have a local caretaker who attends to maintenance of the property and to the needs of our guests.
Andres Nazario purchased this cottage in 2003
This cottage is one of five in a complex of a duplex and a triplex. It is centrally located with the beach a short half block away; and most restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. This unit is one block from Moody Blvd, the main street in Flagler Beach, and two blocks to the famous Flagler Beach Pier.
We invaded Flagler Beach on July 30 and stayed thru August 6, 2016. Seven adults and 5 children stayed at the Casa de la Playa – Central compound. We rented the four units, Sea Grape, Hibiscus, Sea Oats and Las Palmas. The compound is close to everything you need. The beach is one block away, downtown Flagler is within a couple of blocks and ice cream shops for the kids.
The Casa de la Playa- Central compound worked out great for everyone. There was plenty of space outside to relax at night and grill out. The units were extremely clean, comfortable and cool. The one minor issue we had was solved immediately by their maintenance team. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and look forward to next summer and doing it all over again!!
Great place. Great location. Can't wait to return.
Our host was friendly and very accommodative and gracious. Best pizza across st. Beaches and great restaurants and live music!!! Highly recommend!!
If you are looking for the Ritz, this isn't the place for you, but if you are looking for a real Flagler Beach experience, this is the perfect place. Right across from the best taco place I have ever been to, down the road from The Golden Lion and a block from Finn's, not to mention right across the street from the beach, this cottage is in the perfect location. It is central, yet peaceful, with the little deck off the front, and the side patio. We were there for the hottest weather they had had in a very long time and the cottage was plenty cool enough. The owner is very nice and accommodating. I can't say enough good things about our stay! The cottage has everything you need to feel at home, though I doubt you will spend much time inside since there is so much to do just around the corner, down the street, or anywhere up, down or sideways from the cottage.
Second visit to Flagler Beach second stay at the Sea Grape. Great suite/ cottage in the proper Florida tradition and a bottle of wine upon our arrival. We had a wonderful vacation and definitely would stay there again.
we stayed at the sea grape for the month of march (2016) and had a great time. very nice cottage with everything you could want furnished. close to ocean (1 short block) many restaurants with in a few blocks that we went to about 25% of the time. catholic church only 6 blocks away. we walked to almost everything - a very nice and welcoming community-we enjoyed the farmers market with the fresh goodies. publix supermarket only 1 mile from cottage. andres and jim (owners) were very welcoming and eager to assist with any concerns-the bottle of wine on the kitchen table was a touch of class as a welcoming gift. we enjoyed the deck out front-private but still could view the surroundings from the privacy of the cottage. st augistine is a must visit . we didn't discover martins restaurant 3/4 mi. south until the last week of our stay-very good food, great lunches with reasonable prices (a little more $ for dinner) but well worth it. THANK YOU ANDRES AND JIM we look forward to our return for 2017. !!!!!!!
Located in the heart of Flagler Beach, this cottage is well suited for those wanting to enjoy the best of Flagler Beach - the beach, and the small community fun life. Within walking distance of restaurants, shops, bars, churches, tattoo parlors, and produce market. The Intracoastal waterway is a few blocks away.
