About Mike and Shelly Hall
We wanted a vacation home, a place away from the hassle of city life and be able to visit family. I grew up in Graeagle area and we love this area. My husband and I purchased this home in 2002. Since purchasing this property, it has been a vacation rental and for our use. We like how it seems to be quite area with nature around us. We are one street from Plumas Pines golf course
Mike and Shelly Hall purchased this House in 2002
Why Mike and Shelly Hall chose Plumas Eureka Estates
We had looked at a lot of different properties in different towns but we really liked this house. We like how it is close to Johnsville, a historic gold mine, which has a state park and museum. The ranger gives talks and hikes. Graeagle has shopping, restaurants, and fine dinning, the mill pond, hiking
What makes this House unique
This whole area is unique The Lakes Basin has dozens of fishing lakes. A lot of them, the only way to get to them is horse riding and hiking with nature around you. So much history here. There's camping. The rail road museum in Portola. Wildflower viewing. You want fine arts they are here too. Quincy 25 miles - has Town Hall Theatre, Plumas Arts Gallery in The Capitol Arts Gallery. Golfing, several 18 hole courses. Scenic drives Relax and enjoy the quiet and peacefulness. The wildlife. This area is a walk back in time. The beautiful colors and the sound of the pine trees moving in the wind.

We enjoyed another wonderful week's vacation of golf in this clean, well equipped house located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The backyard deck and Bar-B-Q lend themselves to a relaxing dinner spot where you can watch the birds fly through the trees while you eat.
Golfing at Plumas Pines, Graeagle Meadows or Whitehawk Ranch is just a 10 to 15 minute drive away. Grizzly Ranch golf course is about 20 to 25 minutes away in Portola. There are several nice restaurants nearby if you don't feel like cooking. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room help keep the house cool. Although there is no internet, our "personal hotspot" on our IPhone allowed us to use our IPads for email, etc.
We plan to return again next summer!
Great review!! Thank you so much. We hope you will be back next summer.
Clean and comfortable!
We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very comfortable (and clean, as I said before). Although we were in a hot spell, the ceiling fans kept the temp manageable. The kitchen was well equipped with all the pots, pans, utensils and tools we needed, with nice appliances. No wifi, but that was not a show-stopper for us. We all agreed this is a place we would be glad to come back to.
Thank you for the very nice review. We hope to see you back in the future.
Great spot for golfing Greagle area.
Very nice house, we stayed in the summer for golfing at nearby Plumas Pines. Amenities were very nice. Checking in was easy due to the convenient outside lock box. It isn't air conditioned, but if you open the windows and run the ceiling fans it cools off quickly. We will stay again. Thanks for sharing your house.
Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed yourselves. We hope to see you next year.
Thank you again
Graeagle at it's best
We have rented this lil gem for a few years now. It is a block off the busy Poplar Valley Rd. Very quiet, clean. House could use a portable fan for the hot afternoons. Shelly Hall has been very easy to work with.
Thank you, for your comments. It has been an extremely hot summer this year. We will make sure that there is a fan there for next year.
Perfect location, house size great for 2-4 people. Very clean and well furnished. So quiet, and people in area very friendly. Great eating just minutes away, but kitchen perfect for cooking in if you want. Would stay here again.
Very nice property!
The owners have done an excellent job in the remodel of this 2BR 2Bath property located in a quiet residential neighbor of like/kind homes. The home is very well maintained (clean, clean, clean) with all new appliances and kitchen ware. It is located within 15 minutes of all golf courses, hiking, fishing etc. Overall: Great stay....we'll be back!
Thank you so much.Great guests. We'll be looking forward to you coming back.
