About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 6-9)

This is a beautiful home in a great location!!

Come spend your Arizona vacation in 'Your Home Away From Home' After a busy day in the Valley, don’t go back to a small hole in the wall hotel room. Treat yourself to a fully stocked 'cottage' for the same price as a hotel room, and hundreds less than other vacation homes! Sure, you could spend twice as much in a fancy-dancy vacation rental, but there is no need to do that! This home has enough space for you to relax, dine and enjoy your time in Arizona and you won’t go broke doing it!

There is enough room for your family and even a few friends. You pick your room: one king bed, one queen bed and two twins. If you need another bed, the sofa turns into a full size sleeper along with a futon in the den. Stay inside and play some board games with your family, read a book while your kids play a video game or watch a movie on the big television!

If you want to get outside, walk a few steps to the HUGE pool with restrooms, showers and chairs to bask in the Arizona sun. Right next to the pool is a spacious park with a brightly colored jungle gym for your little ones! All of this is within view of the back patio.

This home is in a great location for all of your outdoor and indoor activities. It’s a short drive to the Glendale Stadium that hosted the 2008 Super Bowl, and is scheduled to host the 2015 Super Bowl--near the exciting area of Westgate. The Peoria and Surprise Stadiums are also nearby. We are also very close to Cardinals Football & Coyotes Hockey. Golf is all around the valley, so no trouble finding a place to practice your swing! You can’t get much closer to Lake Pleasant! It’s just a 15-20 minute drive north from where you are staying! You will be staying near Loops 101 and 303, so it’s easy to get anywhere in the valley! Tons of theatres, shopping and restaurants close by!

This home is approx. 1564 square feet & was built in 2007. It was recently completely re-painted inside. Call or email to see more pictures.

Buy the damage protection if you stay here

  • 3 of 5

We stayed here for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. The main pro to this house was that it was really close to the community pool. Pool is not heated however, and the water was really cold. (Early April) There was a Walmart close by and restaurants not to far away also. Was further out from some areas of Phoenix than I expected. (like 45 mins from Camelback Mountain). Another downside to this property was that my kids received several bug bites during the night. This happened many nights in a row. The owner was very responsive while we were there with any questions we had. She was very accommodating and let us check out late. We in return washed and folded most of the laundry. We tried to be respectful guests. As we were packing to leave, my son leaned our lightweight cargo carrier against the garage door and it slipped down and scratched the paint. My husband used the paint they had in the garage and painted over the area. The owners took 150$ out of my security deposit for that. I felt that they should not have taken that much. I guess there is nothing I can do about it.... So I would advise the buyer protection as they don't hesitate to withhold money from the deposit.

Owner's Response: We do appreciate that these tenants were kind enough to wash and fold some laundry that certainly was not required. We understand that accidents happen and they were trying to be helpful by touching up the scratched section of the door but in their attempt to repair the door they used the wrong touch up paint. If I had been told about the damage I may have been able to make the repair with the correct paint. Since I had just recently had the whole exterior of the house painted I called the painter and he said he would re spray the entire door with the correct paint. That is the reason for the $150 charge. Concerning the bug bites, my family and I stay there quite often and have never had any problems with bugs. This property is treated regularly and none of our previous tenants have ever had a problem. It would be possible that the kids got their bug bites while playing in the park or play area close to the house. Withholding some of the deposit was done just to cover our expenses for the repair. We truly try to go out of our way to be sure our renters enjoy their stay at our property and encourage everyone to please look at all our previous reviews & contact us with any questions they may have.

Nice Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed a week and enjoyed it alot. The home is well kept, the location is very good as it is close to many conveniences including stores, restaurants and highways. We did not use the kitchen to cook but it is fully outfitted and looked nicely updated with top end appliances. The pool was right out the back door and probably 75 feet away as it can be seen from the home. While we were there, we had the pool to ourselves. Also, it is great having a garage to utilize. We will look forward to staying here again...Thanks again Darlene.

Very nice home and a great first time experience!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful home. My family, 4 adults and 1 child, were recently in Arizona visiting my mother. The house was very clean, nicely furnished and large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. There is a small playground, our 3 year old grandson enjoyed very much, behind the house and a larger playground a few blocks away. The house is in a convenient location and close to a variety of restaurants and stores.

I found the description of the house on the HomeAway website to be accurate and the property manager, Darlene, responded to my questions in a timely manner. It was a great experience that was enjoyed by all of us. Thank you!

Convenient

  • 5 of 5

We were visiting AZ to celebrate our mother's 90th birthday. This townhouse was located between our parents house and another that was rented by other family members. There was shopping nearby, gas and food. The house was very clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were nice and clean. All bedrooms are upstairs, so not for someone who can't do stairs. One of the bedrooms is a master w/bath and the other two shared a bath or one couple could use the downstairs bath. There was a nice little patio and a large lawn area behind with a playground area and a pool. Overall, a very nice and comfortable house for our party of 6 adults.

Home Away from Home - adequately described!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 7 enjoyed this home very much for three nights while attending a wedding. All the amenities are as listed in the description. Especially appreciated the 3rd bathroom. It is truly a home away from home. Everything you need, including immediate attention to the A/C that quit as we were leaving for the wedding. When we returned the home was already properly cooled. It is a quiet location. Our youngsters enjoyed the pool. Due to the heat we didn't spend time outdoors but did use the grill for meal preparation. There is a Walmart and gas station just a short distance away. We certainly would consider this home for another stay in the Phoenix area and encourage others to consider it too.
