First impressions were "This is cute!" a cozy little cabin with some grass for the kids to play in surrounded by trees. When we walked in, I opened the fridge to put some of our groceries in. To my pleasant surprise, I saw that she had left us some fresh milk, juice, jam cereal and bread. It was all laid out nicely for us and we REALLY appreciated it after the long drive.
Looking around, the beds were made up and had plenty of blankets.
There were a lot of DVDs for the kids to watch when we had some downtime. Overall, I would LOVE to stay here again. She was a wonderful host. It would be a privilege for a guest to be able to stay here.
Thank you so much!
This cabin is in a lovely, quiet area a short drive from the ski resort. It was impeccably clean and very quiet. Our host, Lee-Ann was great to deal with. We have been back twice and recommend it to anyone looking for a quieter alternative to staying at the ski resort.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Comfortable, warm, ideally located, and the perfect quintessential BC hideaway. We look forward to returning.
Thanks so much to our hosts - this place is located only a short drive out of town in a great setting. It is a cozy warm place that easily accommodated our needs. We saw wild deer and squirrels, which kept the animal lovers very happy. We had no issues here and it was very close to the access road to the mountain, which was very handy. My GPS left us about 500 yards short, so look for the Give Way sign on your right. Lee-Ann was brilliant throughout the whole process with great communication and advice. Thanks so much. Totally 100% per cent recommended.
My whole family enjoyed our time in the cabin. The beds were comfortable with high quality linens and pillows. It is situated in a quiet location with trails within walking distance and a short drive to town and the ski resort. A very pleasant stay overall!
Some guests have commented that we show up on their vehicles GPS as being located on the Trans Canada Hwy. That is not the case. You must travel through town, past the ski hill, hospital and airport. Travel 7km south on a paved, quiet rural road, there we will be.
