The villa is stocked with supplies to enjoy the beach and Big Island natural treasures with a full compliment of beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, toys for young or old to the gourmet kitchen stocked with all the up to date gadgetry! Soaking Tub in Master bath to relax after your adventures on the wonderful island.

Enjoy the spacious great room with wireless access and surround sound system with 48' TV and entertainment options for you to enjoy.

3 Bedroom and 3 Bath The Master and Queen room Beds are Bamboo Pillow topped Mattresses to help you gain that restorative sleep we all deserve. The 3rd bedroom is equipped with and over-sized day-bed with a trundle hidden to give that additional sleeping when needed. The 3rd room is setup as an office for those who still need that connection with the outside world. The rooms are equipped with TV's and DVD's and wireless throughout.

The private Ocean Club is unique Island wide, the bar and grill offer delicious dining choices! The three black bottomed lagoon style pools cascade into each other. Welcome to our OHANA HUAKAI! We are Bob and Leona Forsberg from Lyons, Colorado. We own and I operate a wedding venue in the Foothills of Boulder County for 18+ years. Bob's travels have taken him around the world managing his company that produces Environmental Monitoring Equipment. Hooray for frequent flyer miles and 1K! Travel and Hospitality are very important to our family! Our four daughters all worked for Disney and the youngest is still a Manager at of one of Mickey's Hotels in Orlando. The 3 older daughters help me with the Event Venue in Colorado. Our 3 grandchildren are awaiting their first trips to Hawaii. We started bringing the girls to Hawaii when our youngest was 2. We bought our first home in Kona in 1991! Kanaloa at Kona gave us the perfect escape from our very busy lives to be a family and enjoy those special memories! Years ago we sold our Hawaiian home and after our daughters finished college there was a huge hole in our hearts, so the hunt began for the Perfect Vacation Home. The best of what we have come to know as Hawaii! Breathtaking Sunsets, a Private Bar and Grill, a Property designed with Privacy at its core. The Resort construction is of the highest quality and we absolutely wanted a large 3 bedroom and 3 bath floor plan on the top floors. Waikoloa Beach Resort is a Master Planned Community laid out with the land and the preservation of historical landmarks as its core principals. The large gourmet kitchen was a must for us! The opportunity to have many areas to walk, this was missing in our previous purchase and we are passionate about exploring the many paths and trails that lace throughout the resort property and surrounding community.

Happy Days in Hali Kai

We spent the last ten days at Hali Kai property and have had a wonderful stay. The property is as nice as it looks on line and I would recommend it. For anyone looking to rent this property a car is a necessity on the island to get around to see all the attractions. Farmers markets are a must for fresh fruit and Some homemade goodies. We had a great stay and can't wait to come back

Wonderful Condo!

My family visited the Big Island in August 2016 and stayed in unit 24F at Halii Kai. The resort is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. This was our 6th visit to Halii Kai, and we will definitely try to book unit 24F for our next visit to Hawaii. The unit had everything we needed for our trips to the beach. It was very clean and well appointed. The owners were great to work with and helped to make our vacation worry free. We can't wait to return!

Gorgeous condo in a quiet gated community

Wonderful and well equipped condo about 20 min from the airport (KOA). The beds were very comfortable and the garage had lots of toys to make your trip to the beach great. The closest sandy beach is 1-1.5 miles away and was very nice with food/drinks avail from 11am to 9pm (Lava Lava Beach Club). Lots of tide pools there to explore and we saw turtles almost everyday. The community pool is great and had good food (sandwiches, burgers, fish), cold drinks and was about a 10 min walk from the condo. We chose the unit so we could be close to the Hawaii 70.3 start and it was perfect.

Exceptional Villa !!!

We absolutely love this resort! A long awaited 2 week stay at Hali'i Kai, flew by far too quickly. This wonderfully comfortable and well cared for condo was the perfect place for our family to enjoy special time together. Leona, the owner was very nice and professional to work with, as was Stacy who greeted us upon our arrival and was prompt in taking care of a request we had! Everything you need for a relaxed and great island vacation is provided with this rental. From the safety of a gated resort, beautiful oceanfront pool area with a restaurant and bar offering excellent menu choices, to the very best sunsets right from our lounge chairs, there really isn't a better place to be! We do love to venture out, visiting the wonderful beaches close by (many beach items in the garage to use were awesome, along with nice beach towels) and the many fine restaurants and shops as well. The big island has so many beautiful sights to see that a rental car is a must have! Mahalo nui loa for sharing your wonderful Hawaiian home with us - we can't wait to return!!!

Spectacular Condo!

We had such an amazing time at this condo! It is absolutely beautiful and stocked with everything you could possibly need! The condo is so clean and well kept with lots of room too, oh and the bed was sooo comfortable!!! It was a great place to relax after a long day exploring the island. Also, the location is great and there is so much to do! We highly recommend this condo for those wanting to stay on the big island! We had a vacation of a lifetime and we are so glad we got to spend our honeymoon in such a spectacular place! Mahalo!
