My name is Eric Lira, I'm happily married with two adult children. I was born and raised in Arizona. I love it here. I enjoy, mountain biking, rock-climbing, fishing, hiking, running, exercising, swimming, and cinema. My favorite part of renting out my homes is bringing joy to people and their families.
Eric purchased this house in 1993
I rent out this property because I raised my family here, and since my kids have moved out, we no longer have need for such a large home.
We love this home because of the quaint location, the park right behind the home, and unique benefits of the location such as the swimming pools and hiking locations.
The house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The is a beautiful park and several hiking trails within walking distance. It is close to a variety of restaurants and stores. Anything you need is within a 10 min drive.
The backyard overlooks the park and has a great atmosphere, it is filled with foliage and bunnies. The house is spacious with plenty of room for the whole family. There are a variety of sleeping options and the home has anything you may need.
The owners are helpful and respectful of your privacy. They took care of any of our needs in a timely fashion. They are considerate and reasonable.
I would recommend this home to others.
This home has easy access to paved pathways and trails in the unique, surrounding foothills. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for cooking meals at home and the fridge with the icemaker and water feature is great! The heated community pool is within 15 minutes walking distance and is very clean and has a secured gate. Ahwatukee is conveniently located for an easy commute to Sky Harbor airport.
My family of four enjoyed this house for three nights. We were there to visit family, so didn't get to spend too much time at the house except for sleeping, but the beds were comfortable and we really appreciated the information that was provided regarding nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and other entertainment. It's in a wonderful location and the price was right! We'll definitely be back. The owners were quick to respond to my questions, and overall, made the experience a great one for us.
We were able to gather family together and stay in this lovely home comfortably. We also appreciated the opportunity
to bring our dog to share in the fun. Eric and Nick were very responsive to our needs and questions. The home is situated
near a park and very close to hiking trails. Also convenient to shopping and restaurants. We would stay here again!
There is a nice walking path behind the home.
Also a hill to climb and a community pool nearby.
Enjoyed the Botanic gardens , rawhide village
And the music museum close by.
This was our first time using VRBO so were unsure of how it would all be. It has turned out great.
Husband and I stayed at the house with our dog for almost a month during November while having some remodeling work done on our house in western Washington. House was clean and comfortable when we arrived. The house was well stocked with dishes, linens and cleaning items. Easy access to grocery stores and other retail vendors via car and one grocery store is close enough that you can walk to it for exercise. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with nice friendly neighbors and some very polite children. Lots of rabbits though! Hummingbirds and quail were also abundant and fun to watch. Walled back yard was nice for lazing in the sun with our dog, reading and watching the people go by in the park that is near the back of the house. Joggers are first in the morning, then moms with strollers and then retirees. The park is excellent for dog walking as well as the trails that wind through the neighborhood and there is an off leash park within a short drive from the house. We met many wonderful dogs and their owners. We did have slow and intermittent internet access. We got a jetpack from our mobile carrier to use for the internet access. TV cable is basic cable.
The owner was very personable, friendly and quick to respond to the few questions or issues that arose which was appreciated.
And then we returned to the Seattle area to the gray, rainy, windy weather but to a new kitchen and bathrooms. Miss the Phoenix weather!
We recommend the house and the owner and would definitely rent the house again if available when next we get to the Phoenix area.
