About Holly Williams Aucoin

My name is Holly and I grew up here in Wolfeboro playing hockey at the Back Bay ice area, skiing at the Abenaki Ski Hill and spending most of my summers on Lake Winnipesaukee. After high school I went to Plymouth State University and studied Business and Communications. I graduated in 2006 with a BA in Business Management and Communications and am currently the Managing Director of The Nicholas J. Pernokas Recreation Park, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization here in Wolfeboro.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, travel and pretty much anything that involves being outdoors, visiting new places and staying active. I spend a good amount of time as a volunteer board member at the local humane society and the remainder of my time enjoying time with friends, family, my fiance, cat, Melvin and dog, Hilly.

Holly Williams Aucoin purchased this condo in 2010

Why Holly Williams Aucoin chose Lake Winnipesaukee Area

I purchased this property in 2010 to be my primary residence because I loved the area and location. I enjoyed living here for the past four years but recently got engaged and my fiance and I find ourselves needing more space.

What I enjoyed most about living downtown was the convenience of being able to walk everywhere. Weather you're grabbing breakfast with friends, going to a bar for dinner and live music, walking to the docks to hop in a friends boat or just need to pick something up at the grocery store you are literally no more than a 5 minute walk from wherever you are heading.

What makes this condo unique

Free down town parking, walking distance to all restaurants, shops, lake, beaches, public playgrounds, spa, gym, and everything in between.

As the Oldest Summer Resort in America, Wolfeboro has something for everyone. Whether you're staying for a long weekend, visiting for a wedding, or here for a few months there are countless attractions to keep you and your whole family active, entertained, and social. Wolfeboro is a beautiful lakefront town with a wide variety of outdoor activities, over 30 local shops, 15+ restaurants, several public parks, playgrounds, and beaches.

A few of my personal favorite spots to visit are:

The Bridge Falls Path, multi-use rail trail access through Wolfeboro, along the shores of Crescent Lake and Lake Wentworth.

The Nick Recreation Park, a 27-acre recreation dog-friendly park with a 6-lane track, 3 utility fields, 2 baseball and 2 softball fields, a mile long walking path, pavilion with public restrooms and 2 state of the art playgrounds.

great location

  • 3 of 5

The condo was convenient to downtown and was very clean. The bathroom was very small. The bed was comfortable but the bed linens were flimsy. Only the front windows opened so it was difficult to get any cross ventilation.

Sweet Spot!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I chose this rental for its proximity to shops and restaurants, we have never chosen this before because we really like quiet. Well, even though it is right in town, it was very quiet! Holly is a wonderful host and was eager to recommend the best local eateries and attractions. This one bedroom is very roomy, comfortable, and best of all CLEAN! The only thing we would change, is to request blinds in the three living room windows for privacy. All the comforts of home and the convenience of in town. As soon as we returned I recommended this Sweet Spot to friends. We are already looking forward to next time.

The property is lovely!

  • 4 of 5

The only thing I would say is that it's not exactly set up for eating in. A larger table for eating at would be good. And washcloths for the bathroom. Otherwise it's perfectly comfortable and well appointed. Holly was delightful and extremely accommodating.

Owner's Response: Lyndsey, Thank you for your feedback. I agree about the eating space. We've been looking for the perfect table and plan to add one to the condo this fall. There normally several washcloths in the condo. The cleaners must not have replenished them when they cleaned before your stay. I apologize for the inconvenience. Holly
