About Holly Williams Aucoin

My name is Holly and I grew up here in Wolfeboro playing hockey at the Back Bay ice area, skiing at the Abenaki Ski Hill and spending most of my summers on Lake Winnipesaukee. After high school I went to Plymouth State University and studied Business and Communications. I graduated in 2006 with a BA in Business Management and Communications and am currently the Managing Director of The Nicholas J. Pernokas Recreation Park, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization here in Wolfeboro.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, travel and pretty much anything that involves being outdoors, visiting new places and staying active. I spend a good amount of time as a volunteer board member at the local humane society and the remainder of my time enjoying time with friends, family, my fiance, cat, Melvin and dog, Hilly.

Holly Williams Aucoin purchased this condo in 2010

Why Holly Williams Aucoin chose Lake Winnipesaukee Area

I purchased this property in 2010 to be my primary residence because I loved the area and location. I enjoyed living here for the past four years but recently got engaged and my fiance and I find ourselves needing more space.

What I enjoyed most about living downtown was the convenience of being able to walk everywhere. Weather you're grabbing breakfast with friends, going to a bar for dinner and live music, walking to the docks to hop in a friends boat or just need to pick something up at the grocery store you are literally no more than a 5 minute walk from wherever you are heading.

What makes this condo unique

Free down town parking, walking distance to all restaurants, shops, lake, beaches, public playgrounds, spa, gym, and everything in between.

Great place and great town!

  • 5 of 5

Holly was very organized and the place was very clean, spacious, well-located, and comfortable. It's right in town, very short walking distance to restaurants, shops, the lakefront and the bike path. My only suggestion would be to add coffee mugs and a frying pan to the kitchen supplies. Thank you for a great stay!

Owner's Response: Pat, Thank you so much for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to hosting you again soon. I am sorry that you were unable to find the coffee mugs and frying pan during your stay. We do have both items in our condo and apologize that they were not easier to find. Thanks again, Holly & Brendan

Beautiful condo!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a wedding and had a wonderful time. Holly was very accommodating as we had to arrive very late for check in. She met us at the condo to show us around despite the late hour. The condo was very charming, clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need and the condo even had laundry if you're planning a longer stay. The location was ideal to be able to walk and explore the town. I would highly recommend staying here! Thank you Holly.

Great condo; great location; great owner!

  • 4 of 5

My husband, 2-year old son, and I stayed at this condo the last week of August and had a wonderful time. The condo is right off of Main Street, making it a quick walk to the best downtown restaurants and shops. Beaches are a short ride away (although you could walk to Brewster Beach if you are up for it). The condo was very clean (we actually arrived a bit early and ran into the cleaning crew) and incredibly well-stocked! From beach gear (towels, chairs), to assorted hotel-style toiletries, to kitchen equipment, and plenty of extra blankets and pillows, this condo was the perfect combination of a hotel and house (essential for those traveling with little ones). We have stayed with extended family at two different rentals in Wolfeboro in the past few years, and this condo was by far the cleanest and best-stocked.

There is an A/C unit in the bedroom, but no A/C in the living room or kitchen (there is a good fan), so it did get quite warm in the condo given the summer temps. Also, it was a bit loud at night with the windows open, but for us, this was a worthwhile trade-off for being downtown and so close to everything.

Lastly, the owner, Holly, was great. She was out of town on the day of our arrival, so she spoke with me over the phone beforehand (she also offered to speak with me after we initially booked, to discuss area attractions and a few other questions I had). In addition, Holly has put together a guest welcome binder, which includes information about local activities, dining (including menus), etc. Having someone responsive and attentive really made the process so much easier and less stressful - we look forward to returning!

Simply perfect for a trip or family wedding!

  • 5 of 5

We had a family wedding with many guests staying at the Wolfeboro Inn practically across the street and this condo couldn't have been better for us! There were 3 of us plus a full kitchen and living space to enjoy in a clean, sunny condo with quick access to everything! We lucked out! Holly and Brendan thought of all the amenities right down to beach towels and a shower cap (which I had forgotten). The only drawback I could list would be spotty wi-fi connection. Holly was a pleasure and a professional to connect both before and after our trip. They anticipated some of their own personal issues and she got in touch with me ahead of time and her mom just as professionally filled in on our arrival date. They provided a WONDERFUL binder with info on the area including printouts from the parks & rec website and restaurant flyers with spot on recommendations. The right accommodations for the right price in an ideal location. I highly recommend staying there.

As the Oldest Summer Resort in America, Wolfeboro has something for everyone. Whether you're staying for a long weekend, visiting for a wedding, or here for a few months there are countless attractions to keep you and your whole family active, entertained, and social. Wolfeboro is a beautiful lakefront town with a wide variety of outdoor activities, over 30 local shops, 15+ restaurants, several public parks, playgrounds, and beaches.

A few of my personal favorite spots to visit are:

The Bridge Falls Path, multi-use rail trail access through Wolfeboro, along the shores of Crescent Lake and Lake Wentworth.

The Nick Recreation Park, a 27-acre recreation dog-friendly park with a 6-lane track, 3 utility fields, 2 baseball and 2 softball fields, a mile long walking path, pavilion with public restrooms and 2 state of the art playgrounds.
