The unit was exactly what we needed for our two week stay in New York everything was at our fingertips. The unit was incredibly clean with all linen supplied. The space was much bigger then expected and having access to a kitchen was a huge bonus. Previous reviews mentioned noise, the street was quite and noise wasn’t a problem. Would highly recommend this place.
Clean apartment in a great location. As you can see from pix it’s not luxurious but perfectly fine and everything works. As others have mentioned running the shower is mysterious but once you pull the spout where the water comes out, it works. Do not be put off by the common hall. It could use a refresh. We will stay here again for sure.
Clean, comfortable apartment in a very convenient neighborhood. Perfect for a couple.
The best location in terms of subway and shopping and living like a local in Manhattan.
Sure it gets a bit noisy with construction nearby and the whole bin thing and the horn blowing but it’s Manhattan so deal with it. This apartment gives you space and high ceilings which you won’t get in a hotel room. Farmers market at Union Square four days a week! Laundry a few blocks away. Whole foods and other markets close by.
Stayed here for 4 nights in October. Right off the bat, we had problems getting keys from lock box. Impossible to open. Had to get owner to send someone. I stayed with my friend, not a partner and we had to sleep together. Listing calls for sofa bed. The one in photo is not the actual one. No way to sleep on the crappy one that is there, besides the fact there was no linen. Another blanket or two would have been nice. There's only the duvet. There were 3 old towels and no facecloths. When we called about it, the girl looking after things was wondering exactly how many of us were there. Two girls need more than 3 towels. We had to go out and buy some. Two each would have helped. The bed was extremely soft and not comfortable at all. I question the linen being cleaned before our arrival. The pillows are flat. This is more of a frat house room. It was a large unit. TV worked well and so did the air conditioning. It can get quite noisy outside with all the NYC usual sounds as well as construction, especially since you are at street level. AC blocked it well. The kitchen was very well equipped although we only used the fridge and microwave. When we were leaving, once again, the lock box wouldn't open. We needed to call for assistance again and had to wait awhile for reply. The location is good, very close to Union Square and Subway with lots of places to eat nearby. Would be OK for a couple, although the owner needs to get new linens and towels. Wouldn't stay again!
The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Convenient central location! Highly recommend!!
