About heidi

I am Southern California native who has been living in Venice for almost 20 years. I fell in love with this house and the two back bungalows and have done my best to keep upgrades to reflect the 1920's Spanish style homes of that time.

I live with my young daughter next door. We love kids! We have paddle boards, bikes, skateboards and boogie boards to entertain yourself and get around easily.

heidi purchased this bungalow in 1996

Why heidi chose Los Angeles

Take yourself back to old Venice and live life like a Venetian.

What makes this bungalow unique

All the comforts of your own home without the hassle. Close to all the bus stops and bike paths up and down the coast. Safest neighborhood in Venice.

Terrific rental... met all our expectations.

  • 5 of 5

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the bungalow. Ideal location; is within safe walking distance of our main destinations. Restaurants and markets [e.g. Ralphs] are located nearby. Our son and wife live 4 blocks away.

Owner (Heidi) was very friendly and helpful. Unit was maintained in a clean and orderly condition. We would recommend the unit to friends and family; we would like to rent the bungalow again when we are in the area.

It was perfect for our trip

  • 5 of 5

We were in LA to visit our daughter and stayed here for a week, although we never met the killer pug, we had a very nice stay. The place was just as advertised. We used the bikes, but just a bit too cold to use the boogy boards. Heidi was very accommodating and her mother was very sweet. Definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!

Nice setting!

  • 5 of 5

Very clean with ample appointments. If you're planning on doing much cooking, the kitchen counter space is limited. The bed was comfortable and the shower better than most. Heidi was very helpful and accommodating. Definately would stay here again.

Venice bungalow

  • 5 of 5

Heidi did a great job describing her bungalow and it was exactly what we expected and more. The place is Very well maintained, efficiently furnished . It seemed like she had thought about everything one may need when on a vacation in Venice: Bikes, beach towels...we would definitely come back.Thank you Heidi.

Charming place, reasonably priced, and great location

  • 4 of 5

The Beach Bungalow was perfect for our stay. I think it's one of the lowest rates that you can find for that area. The bungalow was warm during the day (no air conditioning), but that was clear in the description. It's not fancy, but very charming, nice, and clean. It happened to be unusually hot when we were there. The evenings were fine with the windows open and fans going. We had a little trouble finding parking a couple nights. The owners were very helpful and and accommodating and Olive the pug was a huge added bonus for us!

The location was perfect for the plans that we had. We didn't end up spending much time at Venice Beach (not totally my taste), but spent a lot of time in Santa Monica and had a wonderful time. One day we walked to Venice and it was quite a hike, biking or driving is better. We drove to the beaches on subsequent days and it was no problem finding reasonably priced parking (off-season, summer may be different). We spent a couple days wandering around Hollywood and took the coastal hwy up through Malibu and around the mountains into Van Nuys. It was a beautiful drive along the coast.

Would definitely stay here again! Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

This place was perfect for myself and two other friends. Nice neighborhood and never had trouble with parking. We loved the fact that Heidi has bikes for her guests. About an 8 minute bike ride to the beach, no need to waste your gas. The house came with everything you would need for your stay. Heidi was extremely helpful in telling us where the good spots were and was very welcoming. The pug was also adorable :) I know where I'm staying if I'm ever back in Venice beach.
