I bought property in Asheville, because the mountains are beautiful and relaxing. It has quite a variety of great restaurants for a small city, lots of golf courses and a lot of adventure for my teenagers.
We thought the cabin was absolutely perfect! We definitely plan to return with friends. It is the perfect distance from town but still being in the mountains. I loved that it had all the amenities so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on our honeymoon. The large TVs with built in DVD players, having tons of dishes and everything just working great made it so we could just relax and not have to keep running out to look for stuff. Thanks for the perfect cabin!
My husband, brothers, and sisters-in-law stayed for a long weekend and had the best time! The cabin was clean & well-stocked with kitchen utensils, paper towels, etc. We were able to bring our dogs and the back porch was perfect for them as it had a gate. The hot tub and fire pit were put to good use the whole weekend. Under 15 minutes for an uber ride in to downtown - the uber drivers had a little bit of a difficult time finding us and the cell reception wasn't great but we had wifi and we never had any of them cancel on us! It felt excluded, yet convenient to grocery, breweries and downtown. Booking was easy and the owners/managers were quick to respond and accommodating to our requests. We definitely want to make this an annual trip!
A comfortable place for 6 adults. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are nice. Kitchen has a strange layout, but useable. We were able to Uber into Asheville for less than $14/each way.
My husband and I stayed here with another couple and had a great time. The cabin interior is updated and very homey. The cold weather was great for enjoying the hot tub. We called an Uber to take us into town so we could enjoy the breweries without having to worry about driving. We got an Uber very quickly and it was a pretty cheap ride (less then $15 each way). We also visited the Biltmore another day and that was also very close. Would definitely stay here again!
We actually didn't get to stay in the Hummingbird Cabin because of some snow difficulties, but our stay in the blue house right up the street was amazing. The place had everything we wanted and we ended up coming at a perfect time to get some snow and also just some beautiful days. They made it very easy for us to enjoy our stay and even when we were late getting out of the cabin they were very kind and understanding. Overall, my wife and I had an amazing experience.
Rented this cabin for the weekend and it was absolutely wonderful! It was the perfect size for our group. I would definitely stay here again!
This was our second stay at this collection of Asheville cottages - and it continues to be a favorite stop of ours. Hummingbird is an oasis of calm, relaxation, and nature - with lots of upscale amenities and close to Asheville and Black Mountain attractions. Wonderful beds, sofas, dining equipment, free coffee, showers, hot tub, and places to sit and relax outside - adjacent trails to hike on the combined properties. Only disappointment was that no bear waddled by as we were eating our breakfast - as happened on our last visit!
