I bought property in Asheville, because the mountains are beautiful and relaxing. It has quite a variety of great restaurants for a small city, lots of golf courses and a lot of adventure for my teenagers.
We thought the cabin was absolutely perfect! We definitely plan to return with friends. It is the perfect distance from town but still being in the mountains. I loved that it had all the amenities so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on our honeymoon. The large TVs with built in DVD players, having tons of dishes and everything just working great made it so we could just relax and not have to keep running out to look for stuff. Thanks for the perfect cabin!
This was our second stay at this collection of Asheville cottages - and it continues to be a favorite stop of ours. Hummingbird is an oasis of calm, relaxation, and nature - with lots of upscale amenities and close to Asheville and Black Mountain attractions. Wonderful beds, sofas, dining equipment, free coffee, showers, hot tub, and places to sit and relax outside - adjacent trails to hike on the combined properties. Only disappointment was that no bear waddled by as we were eating our breakfast - as happened on our last visit!
This cabin was great, as advertised. The grounds are beautiful. We saw turkeys in the yard. Perfect getaway. Lots of nice amenities.
My bachelorette weekend took place in Asheville, and we decided to stay here at the Hummingbird Cabin. This cabin was beautiful, convenient to downtown and the Biltmore house, and had plenty of room (which says a lot since there were 8 girls in one cabin). Can't wait to come back and stay here again!
The cabin was updated and very comfortable. The property is beautiful. The cabin was a short drive to Asheville but felt like it was far away from the City. Very peaceful with all the comforts of home.
We went to the Hummingbird cabin for a quick anniversary getaway and we were not disappointed in the least. The house is beautiful and updated, very cozy and very well stocked. The property is quiet and secluded but still within 20 minutes of Asheville. The hot tub is AH-mazing!!! We are planning on bringing our kids back next year for a family trip. My only suggestion to make this property just perfect would be to invest in some Chromecasts or Apple TV devices so that your guests can stream Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. The house is equipped with cable and a wide variety of channels but we usually only watch streaming services. Would have been nice to catch up on some of our shows with no children around to interrupt :) Other than that, we had a wonderful 3 days and are looking forward to our next trip back!!
This cabin was perfect for two couples and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is in a pristine, private location that is close to Asheville. We enjoyed building a fire and using the hot tub after exploring all day. The cabin was impeccably clean and set up perfectly for everything that we needed. We loved it so much we are inspired to move to the area. Asheville is so very special and this is the best place to explore it all! We will be back for sure!!!! Thank you for a beautiful and life changing stay.
