House, 5 Bedrooms + Convertible bed, 5 Baths, (Sleeps 12)

This 1920s home is on the main road(County Line)to Seven Springs Mountain Resort, 6 miles approximately.

It has been completely renovated with baths in each room. It is located beside to both Roaring Run & Indian Creek for great native and stocked fishing in the spring. It has direct access to the ICV trail for walking, biking, and cross-country sking. Woodfloors accent the downstairs 3 gathering

rooms for entertainment, reading, board games, or TV. Carpet is in each of the 4 bedrooms. An electric fireplace is in the front room as well. Both a front and back porch for your smoking/relaxing convenience. It is very easy to find off of the PA Turnpike exit 91. Please feel free to call for availability and any further questions you may have. No-smoking in the house. Unfortunately due to damages in the past we have a 25 years of age and older requirement to rent.

Please note some GPS's will take you to Rockwood not Champion, I recommend you get off exit 91 of the turnpike make a left go approxiately 2 miles make a right at Sarnelli's following 711 then at the stop sign make a left it is the 3rd house on the right.

About The Owner

This house has been in the family since the 1920's. I remodeled it in 2008 and made it an Inn. I continue to to make improvements yearly and hope to have you stay with us soon.

Good rental

This, overall, was a good rental space. We had 10 people (originally was supposed to be 12 but a few were hit with the flu last minute) staying for a family gathering to celebrate the new year. The house was clean and very comfortable. We weren't able to find any information on accessing the internet even though it states that high speed internet is available to guests. Also DO NOT lock the front deadbolt on your way out. On Saturday when we left for dinner that evening a member of our party locked the deadbolt, with good intentions of making sure the house was secure and went out the back door and we had to call a locksmith at midnight in order to get back in! It would be nice if this were noted somewhere. The area is beautiful and the house was a great central location for all it has to offer.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review, I'm sorry for your inconvenience. The internet is unlocked for all to use without a password, not sure what the issue was but for the future please try to unplug the router on the desk wait 10 seconds plug back in to reboot. I believe if you refer to the written contract it states a warning of possible lock out in bold print and marked with an asterisk. I also personally reminded the person that called in for the lock box code the day before check-in. Please accept my apologies for your inconvenience, I'm glad you enjoyed your overall stay and look forward to your return. Marcia

Thanksgiving Holidays at Helen's Hide Inn

We just spent a relaxing Thanksgiving holidays at Helen’s Hide Inn. There were 12 of us from three different families. We picked Helen’s Hide Inn because it was centrally located between the families and it had the bedrooms (5) and baths (5) that we needed. The Inn was very comfortable for all of us with a large family room and two full kitchens. The furnishings are comfortable and the downstairs rooms are large so that our large group never felt cramped. The day after Thanksgiving we visited the Frank Lloyd Wright house at Falllingwater, which I highly recommend. The only issues to be aware of is that the house is next to a busy road so at night you can hear the cars passing. Also the bedrooms are small but adequate since if you are there you will want spend your time in the family room or outside. I highly recommend Helen’s Hide Inn and look forward to going there next year.
