Overview

Park City area Condo Rental Photos and Description

2 Master Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2.5+ Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Welcome to our warm and comfortable log cabin townhome at the bottom of The Canyons at Park City Mountain Resort (now owned by Vail). Awesome runs, fantastic powder, 7300 acres of ski-able terrain in the US's largest ski/snowboard resort.

The Canyons side of PCMR -- which spans nine mountains -- is known for the best backcountry and off-piste terrain in the area. Because if its size and 20+ lifts, it never has long lift lines. This is the resort of choice for locals, and the Cabriolet (open air people-mover) is only a short walk away.

Our unit is one of the few truly owner-operated units at Timberwolf Lodge. We go above and beyond to make you want to make our place your group's go-to vacation spot.

It is also a 10-minute drive from Park City Mountain Resort; 15 from Deer Valley (no snowboarders allowed at DV!), and is on the free bus route.

The Canyons Golf Course is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2014. We are just beyond the trees of the 16th hole.

Great dining and shopping are less than 10 minutes in either direction -- Old Town in Park City or the newer family-oriented Kimball Junction and Tanger Outlets just off I-80. A two-minute drive gets you to the Canyons Village or the Waldorf Astoria.

Our townhome has two spacious master bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and TVs. Each room has a private, full jacuzzi bathroom. The master has a king bed and a 42' flat panel TV with a Roku device; the other has one queen and one twin bed with a 32' flat panel TV.

You'll find a gas fireplace downstairs in front of a comfy leather couch that makes into a queen bed. There is a huge honkin' 50' flat panel TV in the family room, and you can use it to access Pandora, Netflix, Vudu, Facebook, YouTube and a bunch of other apps. There is also a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Espresso lovers will appreciate the Ascaso espresso maker.

Free broadband WiFi is included (though there is no phone service.)

The unit has underground parking for one with a private entrance from the garage. There are additional parking spaces outside.

Two large shared hot tubs are right outside the front door.

This townhome has beds for seven.

This is not just a rental unit for us; it's our second home. We use it often and have taken care to appoint it and stock it for comfort and ease. Our goal is for you to feel right at home on your off-off-piste days so that you'll make our townhome your favorite place to vacation, year after year.

Thanks for checking us out!

Also, we are happy to rent the place for fewer than the Minimum Days, if there are only a few nights available between bookings. Just email us.

About Delin Wareham

We're local in Utah and Timber Wolf is our second home, not just a rental for us. We want you to feel welcome, relaxed, and have a great time skiing, boarding or golfing.

Delin Wareham purchased this condo in 2011

Why Delin Wareham chose Park City area

We love boarding at The Canyons. It's much bigger and less crowded than Park City and has more varied off-piste terrain. It has wonderful runs for the kids (7 and 8) so there is something for everyone. We also love the changes Talisker is bringing -- a heated quad lift as of 2010 and a challenging 18-hole golf course set to open in 2013. The Waldorf Astoria, with its fine dining and wonderful spa treatments, is a two-minute drive away.

We chose Timber Wolf because there is nothing like being in a warm log cabin while the snow falls outside. But let's face it -- we also feel spoiled there.

Great ski condo

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable condo. The owner was very responsive and answered all our questions promptly. The condo is only 40 minutes from the airport -- it doesn't get better than that! The location is perfect -- only a 2 min car ride to the Cabriolet (people mover) parking lot. From there, it is a short scenic ride on the Cabriolet and you are dropped off steps from the Gondola. At the end of your ski day, you can choose to rent a locker and leave your ski boots on the mountain or bring them home (which we did to warm and dry them out). You can also check your skis/poles/boards at the ski valet right next to the locker room. The location of the condo within the community is very convenient -- right by both communal hot tubs. We appreciated the underground parking -- the car was always warm when we set out. The condo interior is warm and cozy -- plenty of room for a family of 4 to six. Nice set up in the second bedroom -- one queen and one twin, so you can comfortably sleep three kids in that room or one couple plus one child. The kitchen is very well stocked for a vacation home -- every imaginable appliance and even enough spices, oil, etc. The owners also have many extras in the pantry, where they ask that guests follow the "use and replace" policy. For example, we were able to open a bottle of wine on our first evening and replace it the next day, after we had a chance to go to the wine store. There is a great shopping complex very close by at Kimball Junction, where there are many restaurants and two grocery stores, including a Whole Foods. The kitchen and nearby grocery shopping were so convenient that we cooked in one night and had all breakfasts and many "apres skis" at home. All in all, this was a great home base for our wonderful ski vacation.

Great place to stay on your Canyons/Park City vacation

  • 5 of 5

Overall the condo was as described in the description. The owner was very accessible via email and the rental process was very smooth. The only gripe I can think of is the walk to the lift is not that close and is a pain in ski boots. We ended up driving to the lift, which isn't a real problem if you have a car. I would suggest that you rent a car if you stay here.

Owner's Response: We don't recommend the walk in ski boots. It's about 350 meters on a path through the woods and across a golf course. There is a fantastic locker room steps away from where the people-mover drops you off, so we usually store the snow boots there. Glad you were comfortable in the place, and we hope to see you back next year!

PERFECT place for a mid-sized group!!

  • 5 of 5

Firstly, Delin was wonderful! She responded to all my correspondence and inquiries extremely quickly, and just made the whole process seamless.

The quality of the home itself was in great shape. Very clean and spacious for our group of 6. Enough amenities so that all we had to purchase was our own food and drinks.

The walk to the closest Gondola was about 7-8 minutes if you take a shortcut through the back of the complex. Not bad at all. I would absolutely stay here again if I come back to Park City.

Six Mountain Bikers From Whistler

  • 5 of 5

Great location for mountain bikers. Last quality location on the north side of town right off the Colorado River. I have been to Moab five times and have stayed all over the place. This was by far the best location as we could leave our cars in the double car garage and ride to most rides. Even the ones we shuttled ended near by. Porcupine Rim, Portal Trail, Captain Ahab, Moab Rim, Brand Trails, Sovereign, Navajo Rocks and Mag 7 to Gemini Bridges all spit out within riding distance of Moab Springs Ranch.

We didn't turn the TV on once this trip as the outdoor area of the ranch was so good that we didn't seem to spend any real time indoors. Hammocks, pool and hot tub kept the teens busy as did the wifi. The outdoor BBQ and picnic tables made eating in quick, clean and easy. The kitchen was so well stocked that we never ate dinner out. Beds and pillows were great and the indoor living area was very spacious and comfortable. The washer/dryer and dishwasher were top notch. We could have easily had a few more bodies without feeling crowded.

The owner refunded our damage deposit quickly and even helped with having mail sent to the house. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be back soon. It felt like someone's home and not a rental house full of mismatched leftovers.

Awesome location and super comfortable

  • 5 of 5

The townhouse exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect if you are looking to spend time at The Canyons or other Park City resorts. Great shopping and restaurants are very close. It was also very easy to reach from Salt Lake City Airport.

Nothing but praise for this perfectly located Canyons condo

  • 5 of 5

From my first communication with the owner to the last minute we spent at the condo, the entire experience was a positive one. It had everything we were looking for, which was basically a clean, and comfortable place to come to after spending our days skiing on the nearby slopes. It was close to the shuttle, which we did not use, but was also close to the Cabriolet lift and parking lot, which we did use. We had a rental car so it was easy to leave our gear in the vehicle overnight, drive to the lot, put on our boots, and get on the Cabrio gondola with our skis in hand. It was much simpler than I expected. You can buy tickets at the Cabrio lift also so it really is about as easy as you can get.

As for the condo, it was a warm and wonderful place to retreat to each evening. It was very clean and very comfortable. Very well decorated with a rustic charm, nice leather furniture in the living room, and comfortable beds. Plenty of towels, pillows, blankets. The hot tub is about 20 steps from the front door and was an awesome place to sooth our muscles and rehash our favorite moments of the day after skiing. The condo is quiet and very well-designed with a washer and dryer, good use of space, and everything was in proper working condition. We did not eat any meals here except for breakfast. If you are planning for sit-down dinners, that space could be a little tight. One of the best features is the pantry policy of use and replace. No one likes to throw away perfectly good food at the end of a trip so we appreciated being able to leave some things behind. Who doesn't like showing up to snacks and beer?

Other location tips: There are great grocery stores and restaurants just a couple miles down the road and the bus from Salt Lake City drops off at the base of the Cabrio lift by 7-11. We will absolutely consider staying here if we ever had the fortune of visiting this area again. In fact, I wish we could be back there right now. Thank you Delin! You're the best!
