4-Bedroom house with 2 full baths, (9 persons max.)

See our many 5-star reviews over the past 5 years. This is a very clean, well maintained and fully furnished ocean front home in beautiful Emerald Isle, NC. It has a full-on ocean view from the deck and house, not partial and not over the street or over rooftops. It is half of a duplex. The other side of the duplex is not a rental; it is a rarely used second home. You'll have no worries about crazy neighbors or loud parties. The house is close to a lifeguard station on the beach (seasonal). The house and kitchen are fully equipped (even a spare blender, coffee maker & toaster). It is an excellent value and has everything you'll need for a restful stress-free vacation at the beach. An all-new larger deck was completed in 2016 (see photos) and both bathrooms were renovated in early 2017. There is brand new living room furniture as of April, 2017. All the doors were replaced in early 2017. As you can see from all of our photos, we strive to make this a comfortable and tastefully 'beachy' home. Among the features of this property are Spectrum cable tv, wireless internet, central air, ceiling fans in every room, 3 flat-screen HD-TV's, and custom hand-painted tropical murals on bedroom walls. It's NOT cheap thin, uncomfortable rattan or boxy furniture, nor is it used furniture from someone's primary home. We want you to relax and be comfortable!

There are 2 ocean-front master bedrooms with queen beds and 2 bedrooms street side (partial Sound view) with doubles and singles. There are 2 full baths (1 tub/shower main floor and 1 with shower only upper) and a wonderful outdoor enclosed over-sized locking shower with hot and cold water with a dressing area.

Recent (within the past few years) upgrades include new carpeting, larger deck, renovated bathrooms, new living room furniture, new stove and refrigerator, new kitchen sink & faucet, new TV's, new roof, all new doors, digital entrance lock, and many smaller changes as well. We are constantly upgrading! The landscaping and driveway were completely re-done in 2014. More improvements are planned.

There are lifeguards on the beach seasonally about 200 yards away. This house is ON THE BEACH with the same ocean, views, and ease of access as the mansions that cost 3 or 4 times as much. Wouldn't it be nice not to have to drag all your stuff to the beach from a block or more away? There is a huge difference between OCEAN-FRONT and 1 or 2 or 3 houses from the beach. No carts or wagons needed. Need a drink or suntan lotion while you're at the beach? Just walk up onto the deck and get it! Maybe leave your cooler or the children's toys on the deck walkway for instant access. We appreciate your inquiry and thank you for your time and for considering Beach House! Why Alan chose Coastal North Carolina

We considered a beach house in several coastal communities in different states before falling in love with Emerald Isle on our first visit in fall, 2001. We immediately knew that the small town feel, absence of high-rise condos, great vacation amenities, local friendliness and gorgeous uncrowded beach made this the place we wanted to visit again and again. We still enjoy it and you will too!

What makes this house unique

One of our favorite activities is simply to eat most meals on the deck and watch the ocean, the dolphins, people enjoying the beach, and the sunrises and sunsets over the water. There have been a number of weddings on the beach right in front of this home. Some folks see whales off-shore in late fall. We have had turtle nests on the beach right in front of this home too. It is fascinating to watch them hatch!

Beach House - My 2nd Stay Here

My family stayed here in 2011 and we couldn't wait to come back in 2012. The owners had made a number of improvements and the property does not disappoint. I admit that I'm not always easy to please; I'm fussy about cleaning and appearance. Both times I was very satisfied with everything at this house. The owners are gracious people and easy to work with. The handyman who works for them was prompt, charming and very helpful. They tell me that they are planning several upgrades and I will be eager to see what's in store; we just booked again for 2013. The best features include the view, location, comfortable house and the outside shower is fantastic!

Kick Back Time Ocean Front

This house was a good choice for my family. It is absolutely positively ocean front, with no houses, roads or roofs blocking the 180 degree ocean front view. It is spacious and private.

The weather changes fast here, so don't worry if the forecast is cloudy or rain; those move through rapidly. I love Emerald Isle and now I feel like I have found the right house to come back to time and again. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and always available by phone. His local manager is a great guy and was also immediately accessible. I think this house is fairly priced. I know that I could stay at a nice hotel for the cost of any ocean front house, but there is no comparison with this house! The owner said that the other side is a rarely used second home and that certainly seemed to be the place; we had the deck all to ourselves. I would recommend this house. Hope to see you there!

A great family retreat

The property was just what we were looking for on the ocean to celebrate my parent's retirement. It wasn't fancy but had all the amenities we needed. Pillows are very flat and could be replaced along with a few mattresses but overall it was just what we wanted.

Fabulous ocean front home!

Yes, I would recommend this house. It is comfortable, clean and spacious. There are plenty of beach chairs, children's toys and beach games. Our family had a delightful corn hole beanbag tournament one afternoon on the beach. It was great having lifeguards close by too. The house has everything and the air conditioning worked great. It is very fairly priced. We will be back!

Spectacular

The location was perfect..quiet.close to everything..the house was wonderful..perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers..the views can not be beat and the beach just steps away from your backdoor..the owner Alan was terrific to work with and Jerry the manager was so helpful..we definitely will be back

Comfortable, Relaxing Retreat

My family had a wonderful time at this beach condo! It was big enough for all 6 adults (and one 5 year old) to play games, share meals, hang out and sleep comfortably. You cannot beat the location! It's on a quiet part of the beach, so you get a great view of the ocean without any disruption from crowds. Everyone was so happy and rested after our week at the beach. We would definitely rent this condo again next summer.

See dolphins from the house or deck! There is a private walkway from deck to beach over the dunes. The beach lifeguard area is within sight about 600 feet away. Bogue Sound ICW is just 2 blocks away (partial view). The Emerald Isle area has many excellent restaurants, from seafood to steak to vegan. Most deliver or offer take-out so you can bring food home or eat out. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can also cook if you prefer. There is an ocean pier in E.I. a few miles away and they offer fishing 24/7 and have all required gear and bait. You'll see ocean para-sailing and wind-surfers. The area has several excellent public and semi-private golf courses nearby. Emerald Isle has abundant shopping and all required services. Loggerback turtles incubate and the eggs will hatch right on the beach near this home; try to experience the joy of seeing them leave their nest and head for the ocean. Make sure you see Civil War Fort Macon in Atlantic Beach!
