There's plenty of room to for everyone to have privacy in our home. Master is on middle level off the main living room with on-suite including a steam shower, two person jacuzzi and double vanity sinks. Off the living room is a gourmet kitchen with double ovens, down draft cooktop and a huge island for entertaining. Lower level features two large bedrooms (queen beds), 2 full baths, and it's own efficiency kitchen and dining area. There's also a futon in the lower level living room for extra beds. The upper level has three bedrooms, one queen, one with a full and two twins, and the other with a twin. Plus, there is a large office on the upper level with two desks and a sitting area.
As our home is built directly on the shoreline, we have some great outdoor spaces all directly on the water. Deck and dock space is ample to accommodate almost any size party and boat respectively. An outdoor kitchen adds some great entertaining space. The side yard is a great place for the kids to play when not in the water.
We love spending time on the water whether it be water sports, fishing or just taking a cruise. Besides the house being large enough to accommodate our guests, the outdoor space is perfect for entertaining. The former owner was a builder(built 2002) and built everything with nothing but the best materials and construction quality.
This was our second year at this beautiful lake home and our entire family enjoyed it even more than the first. Curt and Shelly keep the home in pristine condition, and are always available and friendly when needed. The kids enjoyed the use of the new kayak this year, and the fishing off the dock is great! We all especially enjoyed the new expanded seating area on the dock and our access this year to the boat house ramp was particularly valuable storing our boat overnight and when the lake was especially rough. What else can we say about this beautiful, relaxing getaway, then we will be back next year!
This house is absolutely beautiful. There isn't a better one on the lake with a water front view, dock, two balconies extending the length of the house, and a perfect side yard. The inside was extremely clean and gorgeous. The owner, Curt, was extremely nice, helpful, and easy to contact. We highly recommend the house and plan on coming back again. Doesn't get better than this place.
The Cayuga lake house vacation rental exceeded expectations. This is a top-flight vacation rental with first-class accommodations. Lovely artistic and dramatic detail to everything. Décor is reminiscent of hunting lodge without any roughing it. The furniture was comfortable and top-of-the line. The kitchen was a dream come true with excellent cooking tools, counter space, and coffee maker. We were only missing a steamer for baby food. Our family enjoyed the dock tremendously as we rented a boat and fishing was a main attraction. The fire pit provided an evening of making s'mores and hotdogs around the fire with our adult children and friends. As Papa and Tutu, we enjoyed the luxurious master bathroom with heated tile floors and separate soaking jacuzzi tub and huge shower. The multiple areas to hang out was a plus. This allowed us to relax and enjoy our time, even with an infant grandchild napping frequently throughout the day. We were even able to work as needed, with the office set-up including a printer and monitor, and with a truly gorgeous lake view. The owner was accommodating and friendly, answering all of our questions as we were preparing for our trip. It felt more like we were at home. We did not have to bring so many items with us, since almost everything we needed was already there in the lake house.
Many of our guests said, "I could live here" and we agreed. It is a rare gem in the vacation rentals world.
We had a great time! The house is beautiful and the owners are very helpful and friendly. The grass area in wonderful for yard games for kids and adults. The lake views were awesome. We loved the house and area so much we are thinking about going back again.

Aurora is probably one of the best kept secrets of upstate NY- a beautiful Victorian village on the National Register of Historical Places. No commercialism here, although a trip to McKenzie-Childs headquarters and factory store is a must. Wells College is in the heart of village and offers a nice executive golf course. The fishing on Cayuga is second to none with everything from lake trout, salmon, small and large mouth bass and more. We even hosted the Bass Master's Tournament this year. Of course we can't leave out the wineries. Less than a 1/2 mile away is Long Point Winery and over 20 wineries surround the lake. Finally, 5 minutes away is Long Point State Park with great swimming, picnicking and boat launch facilities.
Ithaca is just 27 miles to the South and an easy drive to major malls, Ithaca College and Cornell University, and wonderful gorges and waterfalls.
