Welcome to 6503 Ocean Blvd., in beautiful Brant Beach, New Jersey.

Location- Our home is directly on the beach in a residential area. Most duplexes in LBI are surrounded by other duplexes; however we are located next to mostly single family homes in the Estate Section of Brant Beach. What does this mean? Less crowds, less noise, more family friendly, and not a party spot. You walk out the door and onto the sand. Besides being OCEANFRONT, you are also renting in a wonderful location on LBI. The beach directly in front of our house is lifeguarded. We are also on the narrowest point on the LBI- at the end of our street is the bay and the Brant Beach Yacht Club. This is great for sunsets and it’s a great walking community. Ocean Blvd is also comparable to a “boardwalk” in the sense that during the morning and early evening hours it’s frequented with walkers and cyclists. Everyone is happy and friendly; it has a relaxed island feel. A huge plus to renting here is that the beach is never crowded. There are no hotels, condo’s, day trippers and because the island is so narrow you have less houses here. What you find here is families. You are close to Beach Haven, but don’t have to deal with the crowds on the beach, looking for parking, or other beach goers sitting on top of you. Within 3 blocks you have a handicap beach entrance, the town municipal complex-complete with tennis courts, baseball field, basketball court, beach volleyball court, the Bayview Park and guarded bay beach. The Bayview Park offers special programs and weekly concerts throughout the summer. The bay beach is really nice to have on rough ocean days or with little kids who might be afraid of the ocean. Many people kayak, swim, paddleboard, windsurf etc. from the bay beach. Many businesses offer classes and equipment rental here. Within several blocks from our home, there is an ice cream store, a casual beach restaurant, a small boutique, and a general store. A short walk or bike ride away within one mile from our home there are a couple nice restaurants, bars, liquor store, and a brand new expanded Acme food store. Numerous restaurants are nearby and a few are within walking distance. There are many places to shop, play mini-golf, rent boats, kayaks or bicycles, go crab fishing in the bay, charter fishing out of Barnegat Light and surf fishing on the beach. The island has an amusement park complete with rides, games, an arcade, and water park too! In the heart of Beach Haven is the Surflight Theater and the Showplace Ice-Cream Parlor. Also, within walking distance from our home is St. Francis Church. They have a beautiful indoor & outdoor pool that can be used for a fee. We hope you enjoy your time at the Shore.

Amenities in the unit include: central air-conditioning, 2 flat screen TV’s with 2 DVD players, deck and backyard with BBQ, separate outdoor shower, full size WASHER/DRYER, 4 beach badges (children under 12 are free and Senior Citizens are $5 for the entire season) and wireless internet access. Bedrooms- king, a queen, and a “kids bedroom” which has 2 twin trundle beds- a total of 4 twin beds. The kids bedroom can also be converted into a kind bed and 2 twin beds. Every room has new mattress covers, new pillows, new comforters, and new mattresses. The living room has plenty of seating and an extremely comfortable Crate and Barrel sectional and chair. A third party can provide linens, towels, crib, high chair and other rentals if you are interested.

Every guest will receive a welcome packet generated by myself which has a detailed list and information on top restaurant recommendations, parks, things to do, store locations etc. I am always reachable for any questions you may have.

About Marisa

My husband and I purchased the home in September 2014. We both grew up vacationing in LBI and look forward to our time there throughout the year. Its our happy place. Prior to owning this home, we owned another home in Brant Beach about 10 blocks away for 8 years which was also a duplex. Over the years, we met many wonderful families who also share our love for the beach and LBI. We respect the privacy and space of the people who share our home each week. Many people don't even know we are there. However, we are always around if you need help choosing a restaurant, have a question on what to do for the day, or have an issue in the house. Why Marisa chose Long Beach Island

Many people love Long Beach Island. If you mention to someone that you are going to LBI the next question usually is, 'Where on LBI? or do you turn left or right when you get over the bridge?' Everyone has what they think is the best spot on the Island. This is our BEST spot. This is the house that we walked by everyday and hoped that one day we could buy. The location is ideal. The close proximity to stores, the bay beach, park, BBYC, a lifeguard beach and spots like Daddy-o a short walk away. Plus, a upscale residential neighborhood on the narrowest point on the island. The less crowded beach means more space for everyone. Try playing wiffle ball in Beach Haven or Ship Bottom-its not happening-too many people. You can always play here.

What makes this house unique

Inside our home is like vacationing at the beach back in time. There is a real charm to the old wood and coziness that it brings. There is nothing better than opening the windows and getting the ocean breeze and salt air smell inside the house. Except when its really hot and the AC feels just a little bit nicer.

Great family location and super clean home

My family and I rented this home for our vacation. It was such a charming house it felt like you were cozy at the beach. The owner was a pleasure to work with. She was so organized, easily accessible, and took the time to answer all my questions and she even provided a welcome packet with suggests on dining, things to do, and shopping. The house was so comfortable, while at the same time it felt both "old" and new. All the beds were comfortable and new, all new bedding and pillows were as well. The kitchen is stocked with high end and all new items. You didn't have to use mismatched bowls, plates or steak knives that really don't cut. They stock the house with laguiole-just to give you an idea. After renting many homes, we were so pleased with this one we booked another week later in the summer. I normally don't write reviews, but my experience was so great I had to. We have rented many brand new homes these past years, and this was by far better. My kids loved the easy 3 block walk to the sports fields and the park. Can't wait to go back! The owners were there a couple nights during our stay and we didn't even know they were there. They were friendly, but respected our privacy. Counting down to summer!
