Located steps from Rittenhouse Square, central to fine dining, on a quaint Philadelphia street. Hardwood floors, 15 foot high ceilings, and massive windows make this a wonderful apartment with a great perspective on the neighborhood. Very clean. Fantastic location. Walking distance to wonderful bars, coffee shops, theaters and dining. Apartment has a full kitchen with essentials, fresh linens, and is nearby to parking.
I'm Mike. I'm a blueberry farmer. I'm a big fan of traveling to the southwest United States. I enjoy hiking the Grand Canyon and the various other canyons of Utah and Arizona. I worked for the forest service there for a few years, studying hawks on the rim of the Grand Canyon.
I'm an easy and thorough host.

This property was perfect for us! Fantastic location, easy to find everything. Would definitely recommend! Owner was helpful with parking suggestions too.
Very clean and cozy apartment in a great location! Would definitely come back again. Curtains in the living room to block out the street lights would be great!
I would have provided a five star except for the parking issue. There is no parking. Thus if you are driving, this is probably not the best place, as parking costs $25-$47 per 24 hours. I also happened to visited during the "transit strike" and drove around for hours to unload the car and then move out. I parked my car 1/2 mile away from the apartment and then illegally parked to move in and move out.
With this said, no doubt if you are flying and cabbing to Philadelphia this would be a great place to stay. Walking distance to a park, theater district and many fine cuisine restaurants. I left the owner a few notes, but overall I had a nice stay... after I had moved in for the the 3-night stay! The apartment is clean and fairly private. If the bed is too hard the couch is really comfy for sleep. There are spices for cooking and he provides linens, towel s, and a washer/dryer on site.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay in this lovely condo. The pictures are quite accurate. Spacious high ceilings, modern kitchen appliances, including washer/dryer combo, dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator. This first floor corner condo was easily accessible and we were able to find on street parking without too much trouble. You will need quarters for the parking meters, no cost overnight. A grocery store nearby had all the essentials and a lovely restaurant called the Marathon down the block provided us with excellent dinners after a day of visiting the historic sites. All in all, it was a great visit to Philadelphia and I would recommend Michael's condo to anyone. He has an excellent air conditioning system, wireless, cable TV with Netflix. All the comforts of home!
This is an extremely well-maintained unit in a terrific location. It is located a few blocks from Rittenburg Square, tucked among attractive and historic row houses. It's a great place for walkers, and a bus line that runs to and along Market Street is very close. There's a nice nearby bakery for morning coffee and lots of restaurants nearby. If you're driving, the best thing to do is leave your car in a nearby garage or lot. You won't need it.
Drawbacks? The unit is on the first floor, and passers-by can be clearly heard, even in conversation. Luckily, this wasn't an issue late at night. In addition, the wireless remote control for the thermostat didn't match the directions given by the owner. It seems like a simple device, but the heater pretty much refused to heat -- not a problem in October, but January would be a different story. Last, we arrived to find a lot of food in the refrigerator, obviously left by the previous tenant. The good news is that the owner responded quickly by having it removed the next day.
This is unit that's definitely worth considering if you want an historic urban location and a comfortable place to kick back.
