This condo has it all, with direct access to white sandy beaches and turquoise oceanfront. Being a ground floor apartment, makes it ideal for those who don't want to climb stairs with baggage and shopping. Simply walk out the patio doors to the garden or poolside or beachfront. The community is secured 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Restaurants and many other local attractions and gift shops and entertainment are all within walking distance.

Laundry services, maid services and chef prepared meal services are available for an additial fee if desired.

The condo has plenty of natural day light plus fantastic cross breezes which cool the apartment. The condo also has fantastic air conditioning for those needing a climate control environment.

Airport Transfer Services plus Shopping enroute to our condo: Our agents can assist you with grocery shopping at the newest largest Supermarket (Super Pola) at San Juan Shopping Center.

Excellent, romantic and cozy place to stay. As it is new, it was clean, fresh and bright. You feel like home away from home. This condo residence is peaceful and quiet and directly on the beach. Really, l enjoyed every thing... and beautifully decorated by the owner. Also, we felt completely safe 24 hours 7 days a week, with the security guards and well-gated community. It was so comfortable and we fully enjoyed our stay. Definitely, I can recommend this to new travellers!!



I really liked the booking process... absolutely flawless. I really liked the treatment we received starting from the reservation which I felt was very easy and it carried right through to the check in and out. Annette was very sweet, professional and efficient. And, Yves our host, was the person who received us at our destination and let us know about the different beaches and areas that we might have been interested in. He did very well when he oriented us with transportation tips. We also received a wonderful welcome gift which included a bottle of Rum and package of Dominican Coffee which was so very much appreciated. His attention to our needs was great.

A new addition to the complex is the work out room . ( lite workout ie : yoga, resistance bands and small weights ) there are large mirrors and flat screen TV on wall to play workout DVDs to inspire you.

Amazing Condo, Perfect Location!

The condominium was perfectly located in a beautiful, safe and quiet community only steps from a quiet beach area. Plenty of shaded seating and tons of bars, restaurants, markets within a 3 minute walk. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a vacation on a beautiful beach with minimal fuss. Can't wait to go back!

the unit was nice clean and well kept. the kitchen had everything we needed the refrigerator kept food fresh and cold. we had an ocean breeze almost every night. we used the air conditioning only twice in a month.any small problems were addressed quickly we had the pleasure of meeting the owners. this is our sixth year in a row to bavaro area. this was the nicest unit we have stayed in.

Stanza Mare vacation

The condo was fantastic. It was well maintained with no issues at all. It is on the ground floor with a nice patio. We ate breakfast there every morning and then walked 20 steps to the beautiful pool. The snackshack was another couple steps away after that. The walk to the beach took literally 2 minutes.

The condo is in walking distance to a little plaza with everything you need. Having the kitchen was great as we cooked breakfast and sometimes lunch. We went to the snackshack for lunch the other times. We ate out at night at the local restaurants. Gary's was one, right around the corner, there was a Cuban restuarant which was our favorite in that plaza and finally a pizza place in the resort next door. This was our first non all inclusive and it was fantastic. We felt very safe walking there, even at night.

The beach has a guard as well and there were no issues that even required him to do anything.

A good note, we converted dollars to pesos in this little plaza next to the bakery on the second floor. There is a small sign. At first it does seem a little shady but the guy gives you a great rate and was really nice.

Overall, the condo and surrounding grounds were very nice and well kept. The beach was a little weedy but all the Caribbean seems to be that way now. If I had one complaint that would be it, the weeds. There could have been a little more raking done. However, its not the rental owners issue and didn't take anything away from the overall vacation experience.

The Caldors were awesome to deal with. The communication was great, they were extremely helpful in offering information about the area. They answered all my questions, gave great feed back and were a joy to deal with. Honestly, it was like having a tour director there for you. They even set us up with someone to pick us up at the airport. I can't say enough about how easy it was to set up a great vacation with them. If we go back to the DR we will definately book with them again for a stay. I wish all my vacations were this easy to set up. A+

Excellent!

This property is in an "ideal" location, steps to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and attractions and everything you could possibly need.The swimming pool is exceptionally nice with soothing sounds of a waterfall! Very relaxing atmosphere. Loved the food & drinks at the Tiki Hut on premises which were delicious & reasonable. The condo is well-equipped and very comfortable. "Keyless entry" was a real bonus too (nice to not have to worry about keys). Would definitely stay here again. The perfect spot in Bavaro!!!

Very Nice Location

We stayed at this location during late May 2016. This was our 2nd year anniversary, and we had a great time. The Dominican Republic offered new and wonderful experiences for both myself and my husband. However, if you're reading this review, you're mostly interested in the condo and location, so here's what we have to share:

The Pros

It was great to work with Annette. She was very responsive and offered great insight on the location and property. She was forthright and transparent regarding the property and what we could expect.

The condo is exactly as shown on the website... No hidden surprises. What you see is what you get!

Although it was seriously humid, a nice breeze flowed through the condo.

There were a wide variety of kitchen gadgets...essentially everything we needed to prepare meals was available.

There is a housekeeper who comes in every other day to tidy up and restock towels, tissue, paper towels. Dishes were also washed and stored back in the cupboards... A nice treat that we were not expecting.

There is the ability to pay for transfers to and from the condo (from the airport)...inquire with Annette. We paid approximately $70 U.S. Dollars round trip...

The location is surrounded by fabulous restaurants...which are all in walking distance in the shopping center...be sure to explore!

Most importantly...the location is beautiful!!! We were literally steps away from the ocean, and the water was beautiful. The pool is also right outside of the patio!!!

The Cons

While the condo is very nice, there is an opportunity for a few updates...coffee pot, curtains, pots/pans. Let me be clear, nothing was in disrepair, but like any rental, after a while, updates become a necessity.

The bed was incredibly firm, and appeared to be a full size. We may have missed that in the description... Since we have a King-size bed at home, this took some adjusting on our part. We were very thankful for our bed when we returned home.

The space while really nice could feel larger if some of the additional furniture pieces were either removed or if furniture wasn't as bulky. The furniture footprint is somewhat large, thus reducing the amount of liveable space.

Important Information to know

Be prepared for the Mosquitos...almost 1 month after our trip, I am still recovering from the bites

Exchange your foreign currency for Pesos prior to arrival...You get more bang for your buck.

Very nice and cozy condo!!! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your very quaint and comfy condo! Pool was very nice! Beach - absolutely beautiful!!! My only complaint was that we were not able to connect to Wifi. It was ok by me (as I'm on vacation anyway) but my son was devastated :). The bed is not the most comfortable - but it was ok. Ada was so nice and helpful! Could never get in touch with Benjamin (he was always on the go). Our favorite restaurant nearby was Kat's Korner. The wait staff there were simply amazing!!! Food was good too! I will be back. Thank you again for your prompt return of our deposit. Thank you! Lauren and Corey Meurer - Rochester, MN

Accommodation: Costs are based on double occupancy. When more than 2 persons are occupying the condo, there is an extra cost of $15 per night per person.

Prepaid electricity: $10 per night is calculated in addition to the rate. This is more than ample for the average family. In the unlikely event, that more is needed, then the additional energy costs are deducted from the security deposit.

Energy Conservation Advice: Guests are welcome to use as much electricity as personal preference and needs may differ. It is your vacation, so it is up to you. Mostly, it is high use of the a/c and the hot water heater, that can cause high energy costs. Otherwise, the ceiling fans and other electricity requirements, do not use very much electricity, based on average usage.

Tips for saving energy costs: A/C - We recommend to turn the a/c on for 20 minutes prior to bed time, and leaving the ceiling fans on for good air circulation. The walls are made of cement blocks and will typically remain cool for the night. Hot water - The hot water tank has an on/off switch nearby it. Turning the hot water heater on 20 minutes before showering, and remembering to turn it off after showering, will be enough to provide hot water for washing hands and dish washing for the remainder of the day. If more is needed, it not a problem, simply repeat the cycle.
