3 Bedroom 2 bath cabin sleeps 6. Has an extra large back covered patio with great back yard that backs up to the forest for that in the woods feel. Cabins master bedroom has wood burning fireplace with a queen bed. The upstairs bedrooms each have queen beds also and all rooms have flat screen tv's with full Directv. Both bathrooms have showers and tubs. The back patio has seating for twelve with two flatscreen tv's and a Wii on one tv for the kids. It also has great back patio with built in grill and fire pit. Cabin is dog friendly with dog door into house from patio. The main room in the cabin has a gas fireplace. Has a full kitchen with a small eating area in it. There is a large side gate to access the forest with atv's and plenty of parking area in front of the cabin.
We had a very enjoyable stay at this cozy cabin for two weeks in July. The cabin was very clean with the kitchen and bathrooms having been modernized. There are TVs on the deck, in the living room and in all bedrooms if you need your DirectTV fix. The huge covered back deck is super comfortable and a great place to relax with your two and four legged family members. We used both the fire pit to roast marshmallows and the gas grill. There is a motorized trail right behind the property but there was very limited noise and you can walk the trails as well. It's a half a mile hike from the cabin to Brad's Trail, if you want a walking only trail through the beautiful pine trees. The only drawback was internet connectivity which Bob was very upfront about when we booked. The connectivity is through a hot spot which bogs down when too many devices are connected and some phones had limited carrier access. However, the beautiful view out the back, super easy access to hiking trails and the ability to have your dogs stay far outweigh this small inconvenience. I would highly recommend staying here and would consider staying again next summer.
Beautiful cabin!!! We had a great time.
Our family truly enjoyed our time and stay here in Bob’s cabin. It was the perfect get away as it backs up to open forest, has a fire pit in the backyard where we told scary stories and roasted marshmallows. The actual cabin is more than accommodating to everything you need. It most definitely exceeded our expectations. There is even a fenced in backyard for families with pets. We are looking forward to our next visit.
This is a great family getaway to the Flagstaff area. The owners provide lots to do, even when snow or other entertainment ideas don't quite work out. It's a cozy cabin with lots of room for sleeping guests. They also provide lots of blankets for the colder nights.
Really good getaway place to spend your Christmas holidays.
We had a very nice stay @ the cabin. It cozy and relaxing. We would recommend to any looking to get away.
Cabin is just 20 minutes from Flagstaff and either 40 minutes from Sedona by highway or the scenic route down Shnebly Hill road which takes you down thru the red rocks of Sedona the back way in. Also a 20 minute ride to Cliff Castle Casino. Morman Lake is a 20 mile ride away down Morman lake road thru the forest. The SnowBowl ski area is just north of Flagstaff 20 miles. All great areas to venture to all times of the year.
