The property is currently under consideration for publication in national architectural and design magazines.
ABOUT THE BEDROOMS
Similar to what you might find in an exclusive resort, all of the sleeping quarters have King-sized beds with hotel quality mattresses, en-suite baths, direct garden or pool access, individual climate control, smart televisions, well-configured closet and drawer storage, a Nespresso machine and a hospitality fridge. The private baths all have rain head showers and body spray systems. Each bedroom suite has been uniquely designed with art and furnishings curated from all over the globe. You’ll find pieces from Rose and Heather of Auckland, New Zealand created from Ancient Kauri, the oldest surviving timber that predates the Egyptian Pyramids. And other significant pieces curated from some of the finest mills and private homes on many continents.
ABOUT THE DESIGN
The design of this private enclave rests on its open floor plan, large gathering spaces, high ceilings, exquisite architectural elements and carefully curated art and furnishings... to establish Casa Leonardo as one of the most impressive vacation rental properties available in Palm Springs today. Hand-carved wood doors and finish details, quarried hard surfaces from all over the world, rich imported and domestic textiles and the latest in modern appliances and technology have been combined to create a magical vacation property worthy of the most discriminating world traveler.
ABOUT THE OUTDOOR SPACES
In true Palm Springs style, moving walls of glass blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living. You’ll enter the property through the walled, European-style front garden with its breathtaking mountain views, water feature, fire feature and oversized gathering table. Perfect for everything from "Coffee in the morning" to sunset cocktails and evenings under the stars. The fully-appointed and well-stocked gourmet chef’s kitchen - with it’s top of the line stainless steel appliances including a six burner gas range by Bertazzoni of Italy - features twin center islands for meal prep and informal gathering.
The entire rear side of the house is open to the tropical poolside veranda featuring both shaded and sundrenched gathering areas, covered outdoor dining, a bar and bar table, and an amazing separate outdoor kitchen with its own herb garden. There are two additional fire features and plenty of chaise lounges and additional seating areas for spending time together as a group and for couples and individuals to escape for some quiet time alone. At the center of all of these resort-style amenities is the beautiful heated in-ground pool with its tanning shelf and integrated waterfall spa. You and your group will spend glorious mornings, long desert days, and magical evenings under the stars in this luxurious tropical paradise where the emphasis is on connecting with your travel partners and making ever-lasting memories.

You are always consistent and very responsive to any problems or questions. We have used your company 5 times now and have enjoyed every last one. The organization of the arrival is excellent. I never have to worry if we'll be able to get in or if things won't be ready. The pool side area was amazing. Pictures did not do it justice.
Gorgeous property with four great bedrooms - all with private baths. Like an upscale boutique hotel. The back yard was so private and very pretty. We loved all the different outdoor spaces. The house was clean, very well appointed and the team at Acme was very helpful on the few questions we had during our stay. And thanks for the extra towels.
We really wanted to love this house. You can tell that someone took time to design a functional vacation hosting space with a great kitchen that leads into an amazing backyard. But overall, the house felt a bit "tired" for our top-shelf tastes. Here are thoughts from our group (4 professional couples).
*Dog-friendly! The yards are well secured so we did not worry about our dogs getting out. It is about 3 blocks from Ruth Hardy Park which has lots of green space. It is also close to a pretty, morning shade walking path.
*Great hosting space for group of 8. It has 4 bedrooms with en-suite full bathrooms and two half baths. Some of the rooms and baths are a bit small. But overall, it was comfortable and offered sufficient privacy. We would think it would be tight for a group large than 10.
*Pool and outdoor space was perfect for hosting meals. We spent most of the time in the backyard chatting around the fire, cooking/eating at a shaded table (the guys loved the outdoor TV for sports and BBQ), and hanging out in the pool. There are great views of the mountains.
*Location is within walking distance of grocery stores/mini mall. But it is not walking distance to the strip (it's over a mile). Our average Uber ride to/from the strip was about $13.00.
*This house fell below our expectations for a "luxury" rental. It had several burnt out light bulbs, broken handles/hinges, chipped/dirty dishes, scuff marks on walls throughout house, broken patio furniture, burnt out oil lamps, flat tire on bike, and non-functioning appliances.
