The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was more than happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
After I booked the room via vacation , I received a bill from Bayside rentals (broker) for $350 more than what the room was posted for. I thought this was very deceiving. They told me it was for taxes, fees and cleaning. It was almost half of what I rented the place for! Noo oven. Also the burner was in front of the fridge, so it was totally uncomfortable to use the burners. No door to the deck, which was behind the house. the bathroom was so tiny! If you are a heavy person do not stay here. You will hate it. It was like you were on a bathroom on a ship. I never saw anything like it, and I’ve traveled all around the world. When we got there the room was not sufficiently cleaned. The back deck had garbage all over it plus the grill was disgusting. The refrigerator had not been wiped out and was dirty. One of the beds had a dirty mattress cover on it with bugs and hairs. There was old underwear under the bed in the other bedroom. No grilling utensils for the grill. The internet did not work. I called the office and they came with a new bed cover, grilling utensils right away. They gave us a “Hot spot” so we could get emails, but we could not use the internet to watch movies at nite. They had the cleaning company come back to finish cleaning. It was late in the day sat and the woman came, she was exhausted, angry, and let us know it. I felt bad, but hey! I paid for it!!! Many things were broken. And then, the construction next door started. I called the office and the woman said they have nothing to do with any construction, can’t help me, and that’s how it is in the lakes region, I should know that. I picked this place because we have an 8 year old and I thought since there was a pool and a beach there would be lots of kids for him to play with. Not one kid. The entire weekend. And the pool was so freezing, no one used it. The place was empty, almost desolate. One or two nights? OK. An entire week? NO WAY. Never again.
