About Jody and Steve Belkowski
Sasquatch Ridge is the personal family cabin of Steve and Jody Belkowski. Steve works for Ford Motor Company and Jody works for a Market Research company as a computer programmer. We have four children from 16-23 years old. We bought this cabin to build wonderful memories with our children.
Jody and Steve Belkowski purchased this Cabin in 2014
Why Jody and Steve Belkowski chose Pigeon Forge
This cabin has a wonderful floor plan. Family entertainment was #1 priority for us in choosing a cabin. This one had it all! Plenty of space for a super fun game room and a large room that could be converted to a theater. It has wonderful spacious bedrooms. It's also an excellent location. It's only 1/2 a mile off the Parkway between traffic lights 7 (Old Mill) and 8 (Dollywood Lane). You can also walk to the pool in the summer months.
What makes this Cabin unique
Renting from private owners gives you so much more personal contact if needed. After all who knows my cabin better than me? Who cares more about my guests than me? We have so many people say how nice it is to be able to talk to the owner instead of a company that runs hundreds of cabins. There is a big difference and the quality of the cabin and reviews are the proof.

Loved our stay
We loved this cabin. The layout was wonderful. The theatre room was a HUGE hit! Pool table fun (but we had to wait until after Christmas and buy pool chalk before we could play) and the Atari game in the game room was great too. Hot tub was AWESOME. Location SUPER. A couple little things that could use improvement: the furniture is pretty worn in (especially in the living room) and could use upgrading. We would love it if there had been a few board games and playing cards on hand but no biggie. Thanks for having us.
Hi Donna! We're glad that your family enjoyed your stay. We were a bit confused about the comment about the furniture, though, as there is not one piece of furniture in the cabin that's older than 4 years old and everything looked in perfect condition when we were just there a few months ago and in the inspections we've had since then.
We called our current guests who confirmed the furniture is in great condition, "other than the chair". Ah!! That chair is a soft chair that you sink into (not because it's old, because that's how it was made). However, we're going to replace it with a firmer chair so that people don't have the impression it's broken down.
We wish you would have told us that you couldn't find the chalk when you contacted us about the bar stool that your son accidentally broke. We always have extras stashed away.
We tried having board games and cards in the cabin but it was a disaster. With the amount of small kids we host, the games were never kept complete and would be missing pieces. It would be a small miracle to rent a cabin with board games and find them to be complete.
Awesome cabin. Convenient location.
Cabin was better than described. Located in a very quiet resort, but close to everything in Pigeon Forge. Owners were great to work with and very attentive to our stay!
The cabin was excellent. It was very convenient to everything, yet in a quiet area. This was my first time at Sasquatch Ridge and plan on renting again when I come back in the spring.
The cabin was as described and we were very pleased. I appreciated how clean the cabin was. Even the top of the refrigerator was dusted. :) If you’re planning on cooking, there is a nice amount of utensils and pans. They had a large slow cooker we were able to use. The owners called to check in. There is not a wonderful view of the mountains but it was not described as having one. There is nice privacy sitting on the back deck though. Great place!
Nearby Dollywood, Ripley's Aquarium, Zip Lining, Helicopter Tours, Putt-Putt, Go-Carts, Smoky Mountain National Park and so much more!
