Our Charming Cabin is situated on a private dirt road which provides lots of peace and quiet due to their being no traffic. The cabin is 858 sq ft with two bedrooms, with one King and one Queen bed - both are downstairs. One bathroom, living room, dining room, and kitchen are upstairs. Once you enter the cabin, you are greeted with stained wood celings and a good size stone fireplace. The house was newly remodeled to include; new paint, light fixtures, faux wood blinds, and new base boards. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances with granite counter tops and a center island for additional space. The upstairs deck contains room for a four person patio set, a snow board bench, bbq, and a fire pit with plenty of room to walk around. The deck has great views of the forest and trees. Winter months will require a 4wd to get to the cabin since the dirt road is not plowed.
There is planty of entertainment for your enjoyment. Some events include; October Fest, and the Big Bear Renaissance Faire to name just a couple of the larger ones. An extensive list has also been provided on our site under the location information. The Winter Season is great for those who love the Snow and Winter activities and the Summer Season is great for those who love boating, summer activities and to keep cool as it is always much cooler in this climate.
We love to come to the mountains to get away from the busy city life and to enjoy the cooler temperatures during the hot months and we enjoy the snow and winter sports during the cooler months. This area was special to us since we both grew up in the San Bernardino Mountain areas when we were younger and have traveled here annually ever since!
Arika purchased this cabin in 2012
We fell in love with this Cabin the first time we saw it. Since we enjoy this area so much and because it's so conveniently located, we unanimously decided to put an offer on it the morning after the evening we first saw it. We love the neighborhood and the privacy that comes with it. Not to mention the charm and comfort. In addition, it had so many upgrades and it really felt like special care was put into it
Private road allows for minimal traffic or disturbances, lots of property to go hiking or for nice walks in the wilderness, wide open floor plan just makes it feel bigger than it is, tall ceilings, and upgrades throughout, central location to all the most popular attractions, and close by to Running Springs Town!
This is by far one of the best place to stay for snow. We were so glad we picked this place. The house is very clean and owners were very nice. Will definitely come back during the snow season next year. Thanks for making our stay so great!
Took my family on a snow trip for my son's 3 year old birthday and we had a great time. The house was charming and the kids had fun playing around the place. The tubing park was only a few miles up the road and we had a blast with the kids. Beautiful scenery and good places to eat and take the kids. I would recommend staying here.
Loved this place. Away from the loud traffic on a very quiet road with only four homes on the road. Very peaceful and we're close to to Snow Valley. Didn't have to fight the two hour traffic from Big Bear. Place had satellite and wifi. Loved it and will be coming back as soon as we get more snow.
We stayed here before and we keep coming back for a quick getaway. Cabin is decorated very nice with the upscale cabin feel. Hiking right from outside the front door to the forest with just a 5 min hike to the forest. Rooms were clean and plenty of room for a family or a romantic getaway. Kitchen well stocked and beautiful views from the upper deck. Beds were comfortable and makes you want to enjoy the cabin. Nice welcome treats by the owners. They thought of everything.
Very nice, clean and cozy cabin. Owners were easy to get a hold of and answered any questions I had quickly. You will definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to access cabin.
