Our stay at 584 Centre was fantastic. We travelled as a group of 10 guys (bachelor party) and the house couldn't be more suited for us. It was very clean, spacious, and contained pretty much everything we needed from dishes to housewares, clean and comfortable sleeping, and a beautiful yard. The location was perfect.
The owner of home, Jeremy, was excellent to deal with. He made it easy for us from the first steps of booking the trip, accommodated with an early check in, and was very hospitable when it came to advice on enjoying our time in the city. If I had any questions, he was quick to answer with just the info we needed.
I would highly recommend this rental to anyone. As I said we traveled as a bachelor party of 10 - which sometimes is hard to find accommodations for that type of group - but this rental Was the perfect spot for us. It would also we very fitting for a family vacation, reunion, or any other type of vacation.
We just stayed at this property for a bachelorette/girls weekend and the house was perfect for our needs. We were a group of 11 and this was more than adequate space for us. This was much more affordable than a hotel. The house was impeccably clean and just as advertised. Jeremy was great to work with, responded very quickly to inquiries and was even nice enough to give us a great dinner recommendation. There were clean sheets and towels just as advertised. In case its not clear from the description there are 2 full bathrooms which we weren't sure about when we read the description. There is a great outdoor space if the weather is nice.
Parking was a little tricky since it is all street parking, we had 5-6 cars and were able to manage. Location is good, its about a $20.00 cab ride to the main part of the city. We also walked a little less than a mile to the Sam Adams brewery which was nice. The area surrounding the house is nice with some cute restaurants and shops. All in all a great option when visiting Boston and I could see it working for a variety of group types!
The apartment was clean and comfortable and well located but the best part was dealing with Jeremy. He was always reachable, and he gave us great recommendations for local spots to check out (kids' playground, restaurants, dog parks). He also went the distance for us when we forgot some stuff at the apartment by calling the cleaning service right away. The floors do creak a little and you do hear some street traffic from some rooms but you are on a main street with easy access to public transportation. Our two young kids slept really well. We also loved taking long walks around the nearby pond with our dog.
Great place, clean and well worth the price for larger groups! Great location, easy to catch buses, trains etc. Great bars close by!
I booked this home for a corporate event and couldn't be happier! Our seven guests were thrilled with the house and the location, and all said that this far surpassed any hotel they had ever stayed at. Jeremy was great to deal with too. I highly recommend this for anyone! I will certainly be sending more guests in the future!
Easy access, nice neighborhood (Jamaica Plain), close to bus, subway and fast taxis.
Very roomy with good cross ventilation. Nice back balcony for hanging out and rooms were big, beds super comfortable. Kitchen big "old school" size with all the amenities. One negative was loud renters downstairs but thats not necessarily on the landlord!. Overall, had a great time with family at our sons college graduation from Berklee College of Music. Will rent again!
