Family Fun in Puerto Rico
Beautiful House and location to enjoy the East Side of Puerto Rico. Excellent host and communication before and during our stay. House has all the amenities and the game room was a big hit with our kids! We’ll be back!
The view was absolutely beautiful!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The home was equipped with absolutely everything you would need. Plenty of towels! Golf carts were a plus!
Great house, great owner!
What a great place to stay in Puerto Rico!
Our family of seven adults really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house in a lovely and well-maintained community. Even though our GPS took us the long way from the airport to the house and almost got us lost in the jungle, the owner waited patiently and gave us a full welcome and tour on arrival. The house has an amazing kitchen, dining, and living area. You could easily just kick back and spend the entire stay at the house. We had fun playing ping pong and pool in the game room, and hanging out on the top level open air veranda. The beach and beach club are both just a quick golf cart ride away. The beach club has a huge pool, Jacuzzi, two water slides, kids water area, and beach access. The other beach area has a nice little bar/restaurant and a long sandy beach for relaxing or strolling. There are various other bars and restaurants within walking distance on the property as well. Grocery stores and other shopping opportunities are available within a 15 minute radius of the community.
Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the home. We all highly recommend it!
We were 6 adults and 2 children and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa was beautiful, spacious and had everything you needed. The kitchen area was large and very accommodating. We had our early morning coffee on the porch off the kitchen and watched the pelicans as they dove for their breakfast.
We spent our time between the beach club and the beach. You pay for the beach club but it is well worth it and kept everyone entertained all day (pool, slides, food, drinks, pool basketball and the view!). We had 2 golf carts (included) that we used to get around the resort. There is a small grocery store that is fairly well stocked along with the best warm sweet bread (pan sobao) - but get it early as it always sells out!
Danny and his father, Alberto were gracious, helpful and easy to work with. We would highly recommend renting this villa - we had a wonderful stay!
Perfect in every way
We have rented through VRBO from all over the world. We have never rented from owners who were so accommodating. This place is perfect for 4 family couples. Worked with Danny for the reservation and always received a response within several hours. Alberto worked with us in Puerto Rico and was extremely attentive even taking us to the grocery store because we did not rent a car. All bathroom towels and beach towels are provided. All toiletries were provided. Beds are very comfortable and extra pillows and blankets are available. A full sized crib is even available if you have a little one. Air conditioning worked beautifully. The televisions provided cable. Wifi worked without problems. We used every inch of this beautiful home and enjoyed it. The kitchen has everything you need. Coffee, beer, soda and water were stocked and chilled when we arrived.
Beach and fishing gear were available. One 4 person golf cart and one 6 person golf cart were gassed up and ready to go when we arrived. We did obtain beach club and golf privilege passes and used these each day. Alberto obtained these for us on arrival. Alberto also reviewed information about Palmas when we arrived and information about what to see and do in Palmas and all of Puerto Rico. Much information is available to review at the condo. We did call Alberto several times with simple questions about the area, and he was extremely helpful. Very safe. Thank you for sharing your home. We will be back.
Best New Year Celebration!
Alberto (Danny’s father) greeted us and provided a thorough tour of the house - the wonderful living spaces, bedrooms, games room, and superb amenities. From the amazingly equipped kitchen (and outdoor grill), abundance of linens, and entertainment options to the absolute convenience of having golf carts for transport within the resort, the Seascape Peninsula Villa had it all. We had a special treat in viewing New Year’s Eve fireworks from the upper-level open air deck - truly memorable!
One of the best features of the Villa is its location within the resort. From the back we admired the many boats at the marina and enjoyed fabulous sunsets (balconies and deck). Seascape Peninsula is also situated directly across from terrific restaurant options away from the central plaza. We were less than a 5-minute walk from the perfect pina colada at the outdoor restaurant La Pescaderia, or Chez Daniel tapas and sangria. Palmas del Mar is a huge collection of communities, and we believe that being at the Villa versus at the hotel or nearer the beach club was ideal. From the Villa we could still walk to the plaza, but really didn’t need to go there (aside from enjoying a pizza one afternoon and buying a few over-priced provisions at the market).
Other guidance: TRANSPORT - Half of our group had a rental car to get them to Palmas, the others used Palmas del Mar Transportation company (booked in advance for transit from the airport). Although the staff is gracious and knowledgeable, a trip to/from the airport is costly (minimum $125+ per trip of 50 minutes). However, once at the Villa, golf carts and walking will get you around Palmas just fine. To explore more of the island or off-site adventures, we suggest a car. The good thing is that there is a Target Rental Car office within walking distance (at the Yacht Club grounds). We used our car(s) for a couple of shopping runs to local supermarkets in Humacao (15 minutes). With a car we enjoyed a day trip to Old San Juan, kayaking in Fajardo at the bioluminescent bay and a few went along to enjoy the rain forest. (These trips available via Palmas del Mar transportation, but very expensive.) We returned the Palmas car near the the airport for a small extra charge. Danny provided excellent recommendations and was incredibly responsive. Superb!!
