Amazing location, shabby home

  • 3 of 5

The location of this home was amazing, right on the water. But I don't recommend it if you plan to spend any time in the home. Very outdated kitchen, cracking linoleum, and the whole house was very dark made worse by the fact that there were multiple lamps and light bulbs that were not working (one appeared to be the actual outlet after attempts to trouble shoot). The hot water heater barely provided enough hot water for one shower, which could probably be fixed by a lower flow shower head as the current one basically just pours water on you. The refridgerator froze nearly all of my food in the first night despite being on the lowest setting.

For our family the point of a VRBO over a hotel is the ability to cook meals and enjoy comforts of home, this place ended up functioning more as a motel room that we only used to sleep.

Place needs some TLC

  • 3 of 5

Oven overheats, burnt 2 dinners; Shower head is so low you need to do the limbo; 20 inch TV in the livingroom; lamps don't work; Carpet filthy.
