Big family? No problem. Bring them to Glen Eagles Manor, the perfect home for your large family gathering. This three-story, towering property is more than 4,600 square feet with 7 bedrooms and 3 full baths plus 2 half baths.

Situated in one of the more secluded areas of South Lake Tahoe, this is the ideal spot for that ever-expanding family that you never thought you’d be able to fit under one roof. And there’s something for everybody here. But let’s begin in the spacious kitchen, which is completely modernized with gorgeous marble countertops. It’s large enough to fit more than a few chefs, but we know it’s more likely that the space will be filled with hungry mouths wondering when the next meal is going to be ready.

But don’t spend all your time in the kitchen, as the main living room has numerous leather sofas, a beautiful sprawling fireplace, a large flatscreen TV with surround sound, and soaring ceilings that give you a glimpse to the inner balconies of the surrounding bedrooms above. And there is also a lower-level den which is simply a cozier version of this one. Kids getting restless? Send them over to the garage where ping pong awaits. Looking for a different option? Try the game room. It’s perfect for letting out some energy or watching the big game while playing some pool. And speaking of pools, you may need to warm up after a long day at the slopes. Here, you can actually do that outside when you relax in a hot tub that’s situated in the scenic forest of your own backyard.

The bedrooms are something to behold as well. The master features a king-sized bed, a soothing fireplace, an outside balcony, and a private bathroom with spa and adjacent dressing area for those times when sharing the space is not an option. The rest of the guest bedrooms are pleasantly unique in their own way. It’s fair to say that when choosing rooms, no one will be disappointed.

Beautiful house, what a great place for our entire family! This house is huge! We had 10 adults and 6 kids! Great neighborhood, we played in the snow in the backyard and then jumped in the hot tub, it was wonderful! Can't wait to come back next year! House was clean and spacious.

great place for a reunion !

We really enjoyed this wonderful home it was perfect for a large group with plenty of room for cooking, visiting and big enough to have private spaces to hang out. It was very clean and had all we needed. Each bedroom was very roomy and comfortable However:

1) On the first night a neighbor walked right into the house and starting complaining about the noise. So we shut all the doors and windows and stayed inside instead of enjoying the outside deck. She was not a nice person and had obviously made complaints before about people at the house.

2) When we checked out we did more than required for the cleanup. When I got a call from the property company I was told that I was going to be charged an additional $$$$ for cleaning. I said no. she said she would call back. When she did she had to back off because the actually cleaning people (who I had met) said everything was fine and thanked us for doing extra work. Now why would you just assume that you could charge someone extra without talking to the actually cleaning crew???

3) In addition we had to clean the hot tub before we used it. We put Clorox in the tub and then we were told that we had ruined the tub and the tub cleaning company had to empty it twice (there was a water shortage on) and then when I said that I had researched Clorox in the tub the women started arguing with me and told me we were going to be charged $450.00. I asked her to send me the hot tub company’s invoice which she did not do. Luckily none of these charges were completed as I talked to American Express and told them what had transpired.

4) We were told there had been police reports and complaints about cars parked on the road. I called the police department and there had been no reports and I called the city and was told that the street out front of the house is a public road and we can park as many cars as we wanted on the road (cul du sac).

So the property management company tried to charge us an additional $$$$ for no reason. RENTERS BEWARE

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback. We wanted to address some of the concerns you mentioned in your review. The home is in a residential neighborhood, so noise is a concern for neighbors. If police receive a call, they are required to follow up and look into it. Additionally, if our Manager on Duty receives a call regarding a noise complaint, we must look into it. We do have quiet hours posted in the home. The home is technically in the county not the city, so the city would not have record of any complaints. In terms of parking, the number of allowed cars is advertised on the website as well as in the check in email and agreed upon in our terms and conditions. This is a rule of South Lake Tahoe that we must abide by. We always inform guests (through in home signage and literature) to call us for any issues with the hot tub or other amenities - we never would suggest dealing with these issues on your own, as this can result in damages or additional cleaning as this circumstance did. We held the security deposit in the event of additional cleaning, but voided it as soon as the cleaning company confirmed that no additional cleaning was required. The only charge to go through was for additional cleaning required for the hot tub.

The pictures didn't even do it justice on how amazing this place is. Very clean, cozy, and beautiful views. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.
