About the property

4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, interior patio, balcony overlooking San Sebastian Street

Gorgeous 4BR/ 2.5BA balcony and patio rental overlooking San Sebastian Street in Old San Juan. Calle San Sebastian is the famous street in the historic old city, where the annual San Sebastian Fest originated, which attracts thousands of visitors every January.

The colorful historic buildings together with many different restaurants and bars create a lively, tropical atmosphere. The 2nd floor walkup apartment is beautifully decorated. With original wooden doors and wooden ceilings at 18ft. it reflects the charm of the old days, yet offers modern amenities to make your stay pleasant. There are 2 equipped kitchens and 8 stools for 8 persons to enjoy their meal at home, but if you love to eat out you find several choices literally at your door steps. The bedrooms and loft offer comfortable bedding, up to 8 persons on 2 queen size bed, 1 full size bed and 2 twin size beds. Great place

I loved the authentic look of the apartment. The area was awesome. We had our whole family with us. Food bars and El Morro very close. We definitely stay again.

If you want to be in the heart of Old San Juan, close to numerous bars and cafes then this condo is for you. Cute condo.

Beautiful apartment in downtown old san juan.

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is large, open with lots of character. Located right in downtown old san juan there is plenty to do and see. Walking distance to most things. No car needed unless you want to explore the rest of the island, which we did for 2 of the days. Perfect for an adult crowd as it can get noisy at night due to the many bars and restaurants on the street.

Great location and amenities! It was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids.

  • 4 of 5

The only downside is definitely the music outside, it's right on top of a bar and near by others that are very crowded and loud until 3am.

Clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for 7-8 adults. Walking distance to all of OSJ.

Only negatives: would like live TV for news (taxi strike) and weather. Fri and Sat VERY loud from street until 3:30 am, in the front rooms.

Vida Urbana was very good to work with. (TV has HDMI Port)

Old San Juan Charm

  • 4 of 5

Very charming glimpse of preserved history. Although only the bedrooms have air conditioning, there is a constant breeze with the balcony doors open. Simple and functionally appointed. We enjoyed people watching from the balcony in the evenings, but it is extremely noisy until 5:30am when the music stops. Pleasant and accommodating property managers. Grocery, pharmacy, and all your needs close by. Wonderful experience for our adult family.

Old San Juan is the oldest city on US Territory and part of the World Heritage. It is about 8 by 8 blocks of unique colonial style architecture and offers everything from restaurants, bars, Puerto Rican coffee shops, galleries, open air music, and nice paths to walk by the Port & Ocean, tourist shops to grocery store, pharmacy, Marshalls and Starbucks. The closest unofficial beach is in front of the Capitol Building in about 10-15 walking minutes from almost anywhere in Old San Juan. The nearest blue flag beach is called El Escambron and can reached in about 25-30 minutes walking along the Atlantic Ocean or in about 5 minutes by car/ taxi or bus. Old San Juan has a bus station from where you can go to Plaza Las Americas, the biggest mall in the Caribbean, to the Convention Center, as well as to Condado and Isla Verde, the other two main tourist spots along the coast of San Juan. Condado and Isla Verde are the modern parts of the city and have great beaches, hotels & casinos & much more... Learn more about Parking in Old San Juan: Old San Juan provides free of charge on street parking, which is usually hard to find. It is more likely to find a spot between 6am and 8am and between 4pm and 7pm. During business hours and later at night it might take a while to find a spot and it can turn out to be challenging at times. All of our apartments are within walking distance of parking buildings and/or lots, providing overnight rates or hour rates starting at $1.25 and $0.50 for the additional hours. The most economic parking rental is a public lot by Paseo de la Princesa at the southwest city wall of Old San Juan. There are several parking buildings all over town: “Ballaja” on the northwest section of Old San Juan right by El Morro, “La Cochera” in the center of town on Calle Luna between Cruz and San Justo Street (which offers 24 hour rate for about $25), “Dona Fela” in the south center on Recinto Sur and the most economic parking building “Covadonga” right on top of the public bus station as well on Recinto Sur, one block east of the Old San Juan Sheraton Hotel.
